I'm on the marketing team for a financial services company.

What challenge were you trying to address with storyfrontier?

We hired them very early on after we just launched to the public. We didn't have a lot of content or anything to portray our brand. We hired them to do a video to convey our brand. away that was easy to understand.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We collaborated on the ideation portion of the project, where we came up with a storyboard. Then they provided all of the talent and resources, including cameras and shooting locations. We did three videos in total, and we chopped them into shorter form ad videos on Google.

How did you come to work with storyfrontier?

We found them through a recommendation.

How much have you invested with them?  

We've invested $4,000 – $5,000 per year with them. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in April 2018, and we wrapped up in June 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The ads that featured their videos were some of the best performing that we had. Within the first month with them, we had 10,000-20,000 organic views on our website.

How did storyfrontier perform from a project management standpoint?

They were really easy to work with. They were very accommodating, nice, and went the extra mile for us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality of the work really stood out. When it comes to imaging and framing, we really managed to pull together something beautiful with a really nice storyline. Their technical capabilities were really on par with some of the bigger agencies I've worked with in the past.

Are there any areas they could improve?

At the time we worked together, they didn't have an in-house animator so it probably took a bit more time than we would have liked. Overall, it was nothing major.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to include them as early as possible in the process, instead of going to them with a preconceived idea. If you can, think of different formats you might want to use.
