I’m the owner of Marchans Boutique, an online boutique store.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Stephanie Faison?

I needed a website built quickly. I wanted it to be user-friendly and easy for me to upload my own content.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Stephanie Faison built a WooCommerce website from scratch. They created different sections for the site for each of the product categories that I offered. They also integrated CardConnect, a payment integration, into the site, as well as other various third-party plug-ins that I needed.

I already had an existing logo, so they worked with it to design the site.

I had another website on Wix that I never used, and I wanted to use that site’s domain name for this new one. Stephanie Faison handled this for me as well.

After the site launched, they sent me videos on how to navigate the site and upload my own content.

I worked with Stephanie (owner).

How did you come to work with Stephanie Faison?

I knew Stephanie through her mother. Stephanie has actually done several other things for me in the past, including some fliers for our church and obituaries.

How much have you invested with them?

I spent somewhere between $4,000-$5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from August 2017-October 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I definitely enjoyed more online visibility, traffic, and business coming in from Stephanie Faison’s work because I didn’t have a website before they built one for me.

In terms of their performance, Stephanie Faison really went above and beyond. They were able to give me insights on what platform was best for me and what design would look better on the site. Anything that I thought I needed for the site, they went and did for me. 

How did Stephanie Faison perform from a project management standpoint?

Stephanie Faison performed excellently in terms of project management throughout the engagement. They would stay up all night just to get things done on time, and their communication was excellent, too.

We primarily communicated through email and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed with how polite, professional, and transparent Stephanie Faison was. Whenever they couldn’t get something done for me, they would let me know upfront and even apologize.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure to use email to communicate with them, cause that’s where they respond the quickest.
