We worked with Spurt! to define the scope of this project and to identify any opportunities and obstacles towards funding and setting up our establishment. Fundraising can be an expensive process, draining focus, time, and resources from your team. It relies on having/creating a network of investors to whom you can present a strong business case.

Our work supporting startups’ fundraising provides a resource-efficient, risk-aligned service and is based on our ability to deliver across three metrics: networks, information, and support. The fundraising advisory service includes:

• Pitch Document Preparation: They were to design a pitch deck for an investor audience keen on venture debt or grants. To that end, they were to highlight the financial traction and liquidity of my business as well as the ESG proposition of the business with attention to metrics such as sustainable development goals and trending employability and social development objectives.
• Data Room Curation They supported our team in the curation of an investor data room that addresses critical due diligence needs for investors including an investment memo, financial model, investor FAQ sheet and valuation model.
• Founder Education Their founder education offering ensures that founder as well as designated team leaders have the requisite coaching and information that enables you to pitch to new and existing investors confidently and effectively. We elucidate common fundraising pitfalls and provide clarity on the ins and outs of the fundraising process.
• Investment Sourcing They assisted my team with identifying new investors and helped us to elicit support from, or manage relationships with, existing investors in order to expedite attainment of our fundraising goals. They also made recommendations on the best strategy to help us meet our fundraising objectives but ensured that we maintained all autonomy and visibility throughout the investment process.
