I am the CEO of a company that offers a robust cloud-based human resources platform.

For what projects/services did your company hire Soshace?

I hired Soshace to assist my in-house team in developing the platform I had in mind. I wanted to build an HR system to help small to medium enterprises accelerate productivity and provide life-enhancing financial products to employees.

What were your goals for this project?

I hoped to build a modern, scalable product to revolutionize human resources.

I selected them after interviewing several vendors.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Soshace provided a backend Python developer to supplement our in-house team as we worked to create the platform. Our product serves as a one-stop system that manages employee data, vacation days, payroll, benefits information, performance updates, and recruitment. It is a simple yet powerful web application.

We launched the product about four years ago. The main developer continues to handle performance improvements, architecture improvements, new feature implementations, and speed optimizations in the database. In addition to Python, they work with Django, Django Rest Framework, MySQL, Celery, RabbitMQ, and Redis.

What was the team composition?

Soshace provided one Python developer.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

My business depends on this product. We would not be successful without Soshace.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Our lead developers handled all of the project management responsibilities.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Soshace provided a well-written technical contract that was clear and fair. They utilize practical time and cost monitoring tools. Overall, they are pleasant and responsive.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No, they’ve met all of our expectations.

I am the design founder of Snugg Home and I am the head of product for Snugg Pro.

For what projects/services did your company hire Soshace?

We needed help supplementing our development efforts on a full-stack JavaScript app.

What were your goals for this project?

We had a combination of short term and long term projects that including API integrations, advanced billing features, and ongoing bug fixes.

How did you select this vendor?

I saw their solid reputation and proven track record on Upwork.

Describe the project in detail.

The project kicked off with detailed specs of the long-term project. We incorporated daily check-in meetings with the entire development team, including Andrey [Full-Stack Developer, Soshace]. Andrey got up to speed quickly on a very complex and mature app. We always tried to balance our long-term priorities with the shorter-term bug fixes and enhancements. Andrey became productive very quickly, adding production-ready code within one week.

What was the team composition?

We are a small development team, with a combination of internal Snugg Home employees and both short and long-term contractors.

What outcomes or results can you share that demonstrate progress and/or success?

We've released a number of enhancements to our app thanks to Andrey's contribution.

I handled project management internally, but Soshace's communication around human resource management was impeccable.
