After a meeting where they questioned the desirable applicants in-depth, the team began their vetting process after they had a clear idea of who we were searching for. After around three or four weeks of weekly update conversations, they presented me with the first candidate they had advised. 
I was given the candidate's profile, along with a thorough briefing from the technical interview and his algorithmic tests. He performed quite well in our internal technical interview. Not only were the two developers we hired outstanding engineers, but they were also excellent communicators. It was everything.

We hired Soshace in order to help us with hiring and filling in some of the positions we had openings for.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched for hiring companies in the Europe region with experience. Founded a couple of agencies, and Soshace was one of them within our budget. Since they proved very responsive and all the terms aligned with the goal we wanted to achieve, we started the cooperation.

We wanted to find 2 Python Engineers for our team and one Lead Front End Engineer. For the Python Engineer, Sochace provided us with the candidates, which we interviewed through a couple of stages: we had an HR interview, sent tests, led technical interviewers, and after that, we made the call to white 2 Engineers. We provided the candidates for the FE Engineer, and Soshace provided us with the technical expert who interviewed them during the technical interview. Ultimately, we did the internal rehiring for the FE Lead position since we couldn't find the right candidate for the role.

We filled in 2 of the 3 positions we were searching for.

Responsive and very good candidates which they offered us. We didn't have many interviews because the candidates they sent us were quality candidates, so that saved us a lot of time.

Maybe think about the automated communication method, not via email, since our mailboxes were full. Maybe some kind of a platform or tool where we can see the proposed candidates and leave comments. It can be a GoogleDrive folder also so that mailboxes can be used just for regular communication.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Soshace has implemented a global recruitment strategy for us. It’s a fully-remote process that helps us hire the best and brightest candidates from all around the world. They do a full technical screening before presenting the candidates, which has worked out great for us.

In terms of the process, I first provide them with specifications, and they come back with a job description. After that, they look at their pipeline and show us the candidates that they already have pre-sorted. Consequently, they inform us about their CV and overall experience with a technical scorecard, which is unique from their service — they categorize their candidates by skill level, price range, and other relevant topics. In the last part of the process, Soshace makes sure that we meet with the workers and set up the interview between us, with the additional option of hiring them directly or through Soshace.

I’m delighted with their work, and it’s been a great experience; they’ve already helped us recruit four JavaScript developers with expertise in Node and TypeScript, which is what we’re looking for. They’ve built our whole development team for us.

They’re very organized; one of our developers decided that he wanted to step aside from the project, and Soshace quickly replaced him in a matter of weeks with a very qualified candidate who’s a much better fit for our company. In addition to that, they lead a swift process and provide instant feedback — I think Nikita doesn’t leave his computer anytime during the day! In terms of tools, we use email, DocuSign, and Telegram.
