I am a manager at a science and technology development company based in Germany.

We hired them for staff augmentation to help with some of our projects.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They are involved in software development projects, data analytics, architecture development and design, and IT solutions development.

What was the team composition? 

We currently work with two individuals who primarily work remotely. 

How did you come to work with Soname Solutions?

I believe they were referred to us by the CEO of another company, and then we contacted them via email. They responded promptly and met all requirements, so we decided to move forward with them. 

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent between €200,000–€300,000 (approximately $218,000–$327,000 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement? 

We started working with them in early 2022, and it is an ongoing collaboration.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since we started working together, we’ve only received positive reviews from the people they work with, including our stakeholders who are usually very challenging to please. 

How did Soname Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

I usually have a call with the management team from Soname Solutions to talk about our needs and provide a budget and proposal so there are no surprises. We have regular meetings using Google Meet and project management tools such as Trello, but I am not involved in day-to-day communications with them because I’m on the management side. 

What did you find most impressive about them? 

We work in a model where they feel like colleagues, not like an external team, which has been very positive. Soname Solutions is very solution-oriented, consistently proposes solutions, and always speaks up if they have experience in an area we might not. Overall, they are great colleagues and are proactive and super committed. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I am mostly in contact with the project manager, but I don’t know much about the whole company, and maybe that could change. They could also present their successes, operating model, materials, and vision a bit more so that we could understand more of what they’ve done in the past and their achievements. This would help us understand what they’re capable of and help Soname Solutions with advertisement and exposure to other opportunities.

The better discussions you have prior to their appointment, the better selections they can make.

Soname was hired to lead an external service provider team responsible for an interational customer interaction platform. The goal was to achieve excellence in state of the art customer communication and Soname delivered solid data engineering while ensuring data consistency and data quality.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

With the help of Soname we were able to steer and guide our offshore provider in a professional and agile way. Requirements were refined in time and developments in the area of data ingestion, data cleansing and transfomation were delivered with quality.
