BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a service delivery manager at an IT outsourcing company based in Egypt. My dedicated team and I outsource software developers, mainly across the Gulf area, in the Middle East, and Europe.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with SoluSpot?

As we were going on business trips across the Gulf area, we were updating our identity and branding. We were also opening a US branch. Our original brand didn’t match the standards we were looking for when it came to meeting international clients. With our next trip being in three weeks, we were under a tight deadline.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

SoluSpot started by creating a profile for our company. They crafted marketing strategies, business IDs, brochures, and all other marketing material that we needed for these trips.

What is the team composition?

Wafaa (Business Development Manager, SoluSpot) was the one handling our account. There were two people assigned to us.

How did you come to work with SoluSpot?

I heard about SoluSpot from colleagues at a previous company. They had nothing but good things to say, especially about Wafaa. We specifically asked that she handle our account because of her reputation.

How much have you invested with them?

The services cost $4,500.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with SoluSpot from February–May 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

SoluSpot met expectations. The feedback for their work was excellent, and the trip was successful. We opened new projects in the Gulf area. If it leads to projects and money, it’s good for me. We’re planning to work on other parts of our branding in phase two.

How did SoluSpot perform from a project management standpoint?

I don’t recall any incidents in this area. Primarily, communication was over phone and Skype calls. They’re based in the same country as us, so that also allowed for face-to-face meetings on our premises. We had all of our meetings with Wafaa.

What did you find most impressive about them?

SoluSpot was excellent. I don’t recall any part that proved problematic.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t fault SoluSpot. We could’ve had more face-to-face meetings, but everything was correctly done.
