I'm the CEO of a platform that gives users access to estate planning tools.

What challenge were you trying to address with SOLTECH?

I needed to finish my website design and implementation.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, SOLTECH reviewed the work I had, which took about three years to complete but wasn't done correctly. The team offered and implemented recommendations within six months. SOLTECH developed the website on WordPress, which allowed users to answer a series of questions and then print their estate planning documents at home.

We worked with two teammates from SOLTECH: Tom (Director of Delivery) and Raymond (Solutions Architect).

I met SOLTECH through a referral.

We spent around $18,000 on this project.

We engaged with SOLTECH between May 2023–February 2024.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website hasn't been finished, so I don't have quantitative metrics to share. SOLTECH was a fantastic organization and met my expectations. The team knew what they were doing and was able to identify my site's problems, isolate them, and resolve them. I brought SOLTECH a broken product, and they repaired it.

How did SOLTECH perform from a project management standpoint?

SOLTECH delivered work on time and communicated well via phone calls, emails, and Zoom meetings.

Tom and Raymond were excellent to work with.

What did you find most impressive about them?

SOLTECH showcased impressive expertise and never shied away from my questions. The team improved my site, and I couldn't be happier with our engagement. SOLTECH was responsive to every problem I brought to them and acted as if I were their only customer. The team treated me with respect, and I really appreciated it. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of any areas for improvement for SOLTECH. I just wish they keep doing what they did. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I recommend engaging with SOLTECH as soon as possible. I engaged with the team after three years of working on a broken project and wish I had done it sooner.

Needed to do a complete reset of the IT department. In particular, I needed someone who can manage IT help desk and workflow management processes. In addition, this person will be tasked with establish a new help desk process/tool while also introducing and establishing SLAs.

Adapting quickly to the IT business needs and requests - becoming self sufficient in resolving them; Establishing clears SLAs and measurable KPIs for those SLAs.

Yes, the immediate needs of the business were addressed and a lot of pressure was taken off of my workload so that I can focus on other priorities.+
