I’m the former CEO of a blockchain platform.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenges were you trying to address with SoftwareONE Argentina?

We needed consulting services to develop a mobile application using blockchain technologies.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

SoftwareONE Argentina designed and developed a prototype of an escrow platform, a roadmap for the transformation plan, and a user persona. They used Flutter, Sketch, and Adobe XD to create the prototype, while the architecture used AWS and Stellar.

The platform aimed to speed up, simplify, and secure wire transfers.

What was the team composition?

We worked with four people: a graphic designer, a UX leader, a digital transformation expert, and a mobile developer.

How did you come to work with SoftwareONE Argentina?

They were referred.

How much have you invested in them?

We spent $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in November 2018, and the engagement lasted about one year.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we couldn’t implement the idea. However, SoftwareONE Argentina proposed an exciting strategy and created a modern and solid architecture. Overall, the quality of the work was good.

How did SoftwareONE Argentina perform from a project management standpoint?

We led the project management ourselves, but they adjusted well to the budget and communicated well. The team met all deadlines and was flexible. They were always open to our proposals and making the necessary changes. They were also proactive and agile.

We used Microsoft Teams and Jira as project management and communication tools.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They could cover everything from ideation to development and maintenance; that ability was one of the main reasons we chose to work with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve in terms of design proposals.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be very open in your communication; they’ll choose the best team for your project based on this.
