Broadside is live on web and is mobile responsive for ease of use for all customers. The Broadside database is scalable, accounts can be created and managed, and everything is accessible by me.

They consistently delivered work on time, often improved from the original plan, and kept us updated with clear timelines and priorities. Communication was strong, especially on Slack, where they quickly responded to questions, surfaced edge cases, and suggested thoughtful improvements to ensure the system would scale beyond the current plans. They adapted easily to evolving needs, adjusted scope without drama, and brought helpful ideas that strengthened the MVP beyond initial plans. Ideal teammates!

I needed help with custom software development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

This Is Software helped us with custom software development. Initially, I built the product myself and then brought This Is Software in to take it to the next level, handle all the backend work, and assist me with some adjustments. We provided documentation, everything we had already coded, and access to GitHub and other tools so that This Is Software could complete the product.

This Is Software leveraged key technologies, including GitHub, Vercel, React, Vite, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Supabase. After This Is Software finished, they provided us with a document, an owner's manual, that covered all aspects of their work.

What is the team composition?

We worked with three teammates from This Is Software, including their lead, Alexander; a software developer, Vadim; and another teammate, although she worked with us for a brief time.

How did you come to work with This Is Software?

I found This Is Software through a Google search. Initially, I worked with Alexander on an initial MVP and enjoyed working with him so much that I decided to bring him and the team on for this project.

This Is Software delivered an excellent, high-quality product. This Is Software completed the project significantly faster than I had anticipated, saving my company 250–300 hours. Working with This Is Software was also more cost-effective than working with a local team.

We conducted a few testing rounds, and This Is Software fixed all the bugs we encountered.

How did This Is Software perform from a project management standpoint?

This Is Software was organized and delivered on time and even below the initial budget estimation. We communicated via Slack, GitHub, email, and Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed by how fast This Is Software was and how intelligent the team was. This Is Software figured out everything I was imagining. We didn't just complete a project; we created a friendship.
