Please feel free to check out our open-source projects on GitHub (https://github.com/softelnet) to take a glimpse at the quality of the code we produce, in particular the Java-based Sponge project with a Flutter-based mobile client app (https://sponge.openksavi.org). We've been using these open-source projects in our commercial products and now they are available for everyone.

Geospatial Network Inventory + Ksavi Network Operations = FTTH network planning, design and management software based on QGIS, FreeCAD and our platform Ksavi
Ksavi MVNO is an IT system enabling management of a mobile virtual network. It is meant for the companies which would like to extend their offer by mobile phone services. CRM mode, SIM card storage, a report engine and mechanism of communicating with structural operators ensure a consistent solution for managing a virtual network.
Due to maintaining an appropriate security level and implementing basic processes conducted between operators (e.g. porting of numbers), the system may be quickly launched.
An intuitive user interface, a built-in process engine and a flexible authorization system enable adjusting the system to the virtual operator’s individual needs.
We have provided our solution with relevant customizations to several telecom companies in Poland.
Geospatial Network Inventory technologies: QGIS, FreeCAD, Python, Qt, PostGIS.
Ksavi Network Operations technologies: Java, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, JMS, Jasper Reports, Web services, GWT, Android SDK, Kotlin, PostgreSQL.

Ksavi Provisioning - Provisioning of services and resources of a telecommunications operator
Ksavi Provisioning is an IT system which supports providing and maintaining services provided by telecommunications services suppliers such as cable television operators, Internet service providers, VoIP service providers and mobile virtual network operators. The system completes provisioning orders by performing basic operations on specialized sub-systems which, by operating within the existing operator's equipment and service infrastructure, ensure providing specific services for end clients.
The solution is adjusted to operate as the Umbrella Management System, covering various technologies of specialized systems. Ksavi Provisioning may operate as an independent system or as a component of the operator's integrated environment by sharing the user’s graphic interface and integration API.
Benefits:
-
Ensuring high quality of customer service due to reducing the time needed to ensure providing a client with the required services.
-
Painless integration with BSS/OSS systems by means of available APIs compatible with TMForum standards (e.g. eTOM, SID).
-
Automation of conflict situations and handling mistakes of specialized systems.
-
Quick access to the records of the provided services along with a provision events log.
-
Maintenance-free completion of provisioning processes.
We have rolled out our solution with relevant customizations to the telecommunications operators that provide their services to nearly a million of subscribers.
Technologies: Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, OSS/J, JMS, STOMP, Jasper Reports, Web services, GWT, PostgreSQL.

Open-source projects Sponge & Sponge Remote
We have been using Open Source Software in our commercial products and services for many years. Therefore we appreciate the impact of Open Source on the development of the IT world and believe that its constant grow is important. In order to contribute to the Open Source community we share and maintain our open-source projects such as Sponge.
Sponge is a Java-based service for implementing synchronous actions and asynchronous event processors. Sponge allows to introduce temporal and logical conditions to processed events. The supported event processors include filters, triggers, rules and correlators.
Sponge Remote is a minimalistic, opinionated, mobile application that provides a generic user interface to call remote Sponge actions. The app is made with Flutter. The Sponge Remote is available on Google Play. Sponge Remote is in alpha phase and supports only a limited set of Sponge features.
For more information see the project home page at https://sponge.openksavi.org. Please feel free to check out the Sponge project source codes on GitHub (https://github.com/softelnet/sponge).
Sponge technologies: Java, Python (Jython), Ruby (JRuby), Groovy, JavaScript (Nashorn), Kotlin (server side), Apache Camel, Spring, JSON-RPC 2.0, gRPC, Raspberry Pi, Docker.

Please describe your company and your position there.
BMM supports companies in digital transformation, increases the efficiency of hospitals, corporations, and other organizations by implementing modern IT and organizational solutions, data analysis, consulting, and training.
We take part in the development of the Regional Medical Information Center. I am a project portfolio manager and I am responsible for supervising the implementation of projects and a project portfolio for the medical industry.
For what projects/services did your company hire Softelnet, and what were your goals?
We needed an integration component that would be able to support local nodes located in health care facilities in communicating with the Regional Medical Information Center.
The component was to be installed in several medical centers. We knew Softelnet had excellent skills in the required technologies like Java, Spring, WebServices, etc.
How did you select Softelnet and what were the deciding factors?
We knew Softelnet had already successfully deployed several Java based systems. We started working with them in July 2014 and are still working together.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
First, Softelnet has designed and implemented an integration component for healthcare centers. Second, they installed and set up it in 2 hospitals.
Subsequently, the component has so far been installed in another 3 medical facilities.
Technologies used include Java, Hibernate, JPA, JDBC, Spring, Internet services, WSDL, SOAP, Apache CXF, Tomcat and Microsoft SQL Server.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
The team that implemented the component consisted of two developers. Subsequent installations and configurations were made by one expert from Softelnet. No more was needed as the component is very stable and the documentation provided is excellent.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Softelnet developed results quickly and responded effectively to challenges and feedback. All installations of the integration component worked flawlessly and without problems.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
The deadlines agreed with the project manager were always kept. Their project manager makes sure their employees know what's going on so I don't have to think about it.
All the necessary integration configuration that had to be done from the Softelnet website was always fast and on time.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We are impressed with the quality of the products delivered (including component documentation) and the level of professionalism demonstrated by the Softelnet team.
I would like to highlight the great flexibility that Softelnet has shown when it comes to adapting to changes, eg caused by independent software integrators.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No, nothing comes to mind.
The integration component was developed and installed successfully. Softelnet was able to deliver fast results and work around challenges, hitting deadlines and impressing the client with the quality of their work and professionalism. To date, the client is still engaged and working with the team.
