Our firm was founded in 2004 by Steve Soelberg in Selah, Washington. By 2007 Mr. Soelberg had made Soelberg & Associates, PS an incorporated business, moved to Yakima and hired a second CPA, Mauricio Peralta. Together they realized there was a niche of clients who were underserved in the Yakima area and set out to fulfill this need. For the last 16 years Soelberg & Associates, PS has been providing quality service to the people of Yakima.
In November of 2018, Soelberg & Associates, PS combined their offices with Durrett & Associates, PLLC to become Soelberg, Durrett & Associates, PS. Joining forces was an intentional decision made by both Tom Durrett and Steve Soelberg, in order to prepare for the unknown and make sure their clients continued to receive excellent service.
Today our CPA firm provides comprehensive Tax and Accounting services to small-medium sized businesses and individuals throughout Washington State. Our staff contains several experienced CPA’s including Steve Soelberg, Mauricio Peralta, Mike Thornton, Cynthia Botkin, Sonja Alexander, and Matthew Vogel as well as the combined support staff from both of our offices to administer the best service in all areas of your financial, business, and tax needs.
