Moving brands from good to great
We're an ambitious design studio with an affinity for moving brands from good to great. Our clients include everything from startups to global brands Samsung, Microsoft and Bosch.
Microsoft, Samsung B2B, Lineage Logistics, Novartis, Bosch, Accenture
Samsung offers integrated, scalable solutions that empower businesses and reinvent the way they work. We were hired to redesign Samsung’s B2B brand to reflect their leadership in digital enterprise solutions.
We identified opportunities to evolve the brand through the messaging and visual language, with a focus on building trust and relationships with businesses. We considered every aspect of the design, including color, typography, messaging, iconography, photography and layout. We executed the strategy across targeted industries, including Finance, Government, Healthcare, Education and Retail.
Our strategic planning, brand messaging and creative executions established Samsung B2B as a leading innovator for businesses.
Next Stop: Magic is a cross-promotional ad campaign for Amtrak Pacific Surfliner and Disneyland. The ads focus on the magic of the train ride en route to Disneyland.
For 50 years, ML Kishigo has designed and manufactured high visibility safety apparel that is comfortable and built to last. With an outdated brand that no longer reflected its brand vision and exponential growth, ML Kishigo commissioned us to refocus their brand strategy and breathe new life into their brand.
We developed a comprehensive brand strategy and identity inspired by ML Kishigo's continuous drive for setting new standards. To support the new focus on innovation, we recommended that "ML Kishigo" change its name to "Kishigo." The change, while subtle, leverages the existing brand equity, while modernizing the name and emphasizing the word "go."
The new logo and branding further build on this strategic decision. The logo mark consists of an arrow (a symbol often seen at construction sites), inspired by Kishigo's never-ending push for innovation and the workers who are always on the move. The significance of "go" extends throughout the new brand identity, from its vibrant neon color palette to its bold use of the positive and negative space of the arrow.
We established a fresh brand strategy and identity that reflects Kishigo's uncompromising push for innovation.
Zuby is an intuitive mobile app for landlords and renters seeking simplicity. For landlords, Zuby centralizes everything relating to their rentals, helping them to save time and money. For renters, the app provides convenient tools that make it easy to pay rent, split rent with roommates and hire maintenance pros. We were tasked with designing a brand and app centered around simplicity.
Our new and improved brand identity for Zuby is both approachable and empowering. With the focus on simplicity at the core, we elevated Zuby's logo, icons, typography, illustrations and color palette.
With this fresh direction, we redesigned key screens for Zuby's intuitive mobile app, client portal and website, which prioritize the most important tools and resources for landlords and renters. Our designs served as the foundation for the rest of Zuby's brand and app.
The Zuby app launched in Apple and Google Play in 2020, with great success. The app continues to maintain 5.0 star ratings and reviews.
Olivo Amigo’s extra virgin olive oil is centered around the Mediterranean experience, where happiness is built around the table. The brand revels in the magic of the Mediterranean lifestyle, which celebrates color, flavor, health, happiness and life.
We carried this vitality throughout the brand, in everything from the messaging to the colors and visuals. The patterns and textures have Mediterranean roots, inspired by the multicolored mosaics found in Park Güell in Barcelona, Spain.
We developed a comprehensive brand identity that celebrates Olivo Amigo's Spanish roots, amazing health benefits and vibrant energy.
We were tasked with announcing the launch of the first-generation Surface, Microsoft's first leap into hardware. With such a momentous product launch on our hands, we knew we had to make a statement.
We developed striking minimalist ads that highlighted Surface's vibrant colors and magnetic keyboard. Our campaign carried a strong presence throughout the streets and transit area of major cities around the world, inviting consumers to "Click in" and connect with Microsoft's new tablet.
Microsoft’s first batch of Surface tablets sold out in the U.S., positioning the tech-giant as a leader in the new hardware-based market.
