I’m the global media operations manager at Audible, an original audio content, audiobook, and podcast production and distribution company. We deliver innovative audio entertainment to millions of listeners worldwide.

What challenge were you trying to address with Simple Stack?

We needed to use a live collaborative system to streamline the process and consolidate multiple related workflows.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Simple Stack has developed a live collaborative system for our global paid and organic media planning and spending. The deliverables include a comprehensive media plan with details covering the plan's budget, marketing channel, media partners, planned and actual spending, and planned and actual impressions, etc. Based on this information, we're able to generate various reports for certain campaigns, channels, or partners. Moreover, the system connects to our existing system to manage ad placements and creative asset development.

We started working with Simple Stack in January 2026, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Simple Stack's system has saved time for our working teams on both Audible and the media agency sides. We've saved around 10 to 20 hours per person per month, depending on the workload. Additionally, the system has improved data quality and made it easier to find, track, and correct errors. All the data is now in the same database and connected to each other, whereas before, it was spread across hundreds of different Excel sheets.

How did Simple Stack perform from a project management standpoint?

Simple Stack delivers on time. From the beginning of our engagement, we set up weekly meetings to sync up and deliver updates. Towards the end of the project, the meetings became biweekly. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Simple Stack is always innovative in developing solutions and quickly understands the requirements.

Are there any areas they could improve?

For some simple and easy updates, Simple Stack's turnaround time could be quicker.
