OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Silvertip Digital, and what were your goals?

We originally hired Silvertip to conduct a one-off audit of our paid media activity, and to assist our in-house Digital Marketing Manager with implementing the findings of audit. Our DMM then left the business so Silvertip took on the complete management and reporting of our paid media channels until we found and incoming replacement.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The agency was brought on board during my maternity leave so I wasn't involved in this process, but I leave my maternity cover compared a few mini-audits by digital agencies and proceeded with the one that felt most thorough.

Hands on management of paid social and paid search, including campaign optimisation, budget pacing, reporting, troubleshooting, etc.

We worked with two Performance Marketing Executives, a Senior Performance Marketing Executive, and the Head of Performance Marketing

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Ongoing project; Google Ads had a 12% increase in CTR YoY.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective, we have regular meetings and they are also very responsive on Slack.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are very responsive, thorough and quick.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Certain things do get missed; incorrect budgets were used at times and I've flagged the same issues with some of our Facebook issues multiple times. It's my understanding that the previous account manager was not the most organised, but this was relayed to me by a colleague and I didn't experience it myself.
