Our Story

Sfida.PRO started with a conviction rather than a business plan. Elvis Plaku built his first website in 1999, and after years of watching clients rent their own digital presence from platforms they did not control, he founded the agency on a simple idea: open source software gives businesses ownership of their infrastructure instead of a monthly permission slip. That principle still decides how we work. We build on WordPress, Moodle and Nextcloud because our clients end up owning their platform

Projects start from EUR 1,500 to 2,000, and our hourly rates run $50 to $150 depending on the service, with support work at the lower end and development at the higher. Most clients continue afterwards on a monthly managed hosting, care, or SEO plan rather than treating the build as a one-off.

WordPress is our core platform, with more than 150 sites built on it, and we use WooCommerce, FluentCart and PrestaShop for e-commerce. We also implement and manage Moodle for learning platforms and Nextcloud for cloud storage. Everything we build is open source, so clients own their platform and their data outright.

For most of our clients, that is where the relationship starts rather than ends. We host and maintain what we build, with EU and US datacenters, 24/7 security monitoring, backups, software updates and a defined SLA. Around 18 organisations rely on us month to month at any given time, and the American Chamber of Commerce in Albania has worked with us for more than 15 years.

Yes. We are based in Tirana and work with clients across Albania, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States. Our team works in Albanian, English and Italian, and we run projects remotely as a matter of routine.
