Please describe your company and your position there.
I am Sr. manager IT looking after infrastructure and security of ManpowerGroup India. Our company is specifically into staffing and consulting business.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Secure Network Solutions India Pvt Ltd?
We were having challenges with Data Leakage and wanted to have a solution in place which would take care of the same.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We had searched and called for solutions from the shortlisted vendors. The final call for SNS happened after several round of talks taking place in regards to technical and corresponding cost.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We initially deployed the DLP solution in just detect mode to understand what are methods are used profusely to send data outside. All the channels were put under detection for two months to gather all the data. The data was analyzed on every day basis to understand trend. After that we implemented the prevention rules one by one on each channels to see the impact and wait for the user feedaback to fine tune the policies. Once one channel was through then we moved to next channels. DLP policies needs constant monitoring and it can never foolproof but we saw serious drop in unnecessary leakage.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We had two people majorly working from the vendor end. We didn't want too many people involved from the vendor during the implementation as we wanted consistent work to be done.

The results were exemplary and the management was really happy to see the impact.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Workflow has brilliant. The vendor knew exactly what we wanted and prior experience of vendor in implementing such solutions obviously helped.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The impressive part of this company, they were always ready to listen and suggest methods which would reduce the impact.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
DLP solutions are always work in progress. I don't think things could have been done better but improvements are always done to make things better.
