I’m the head of operations at iKix My3D. We make 3D miniature figurines and replica dolls.

What challenge were you trying to address with The Searchie?

We needed someone to develop our e-commerce site.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The Searchie designed and developed our e-commerce website using PHP and HTML. They gave us an outstanding site template that they made from scratch.

For the first three months, they did PPC. Now, they’re working on backlinks, blogging, social media marketing, SEO, and SEO maintenance. They’re running our social media accounts. We provide the raw image of what we require for the post, and they work on the backend template and the content.

They’re a three-person team. We have one main point of contact.

How did you come to work with The Searchie?

We looked for a startup company to work with. The Searchie introduced their ideas, overviews, and operating systems. Their portfolio was also quite amazing, so I gave them the opportunity to work on our website.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement began in April 2019, and the work is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Once The Searchie began working on backlinks, SEO, and blogging, we began getting organic traffic to the site, going from 2–3 users per day to 700–800.

How did The Searchie perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is good. They’re organized and have a clear plan as to what they’re going to do and when they’re going to do it. We understood the workflow process. Our teams communicate by phone calls and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They customized our templates exactly how we wanted them to be.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could hire more people so that we could hire them for web hosting.
