I stumbled on digital marketing when I worked as a recruitment assistant at a temporary employment service in Cape Town a couple of years ago. I placed dozens of job ads per week, and observed that some of my bulk recruitment job ads were doing much better than others. I started to do research about how I can improve my job ad copy, and became familiar with search engine optimisation and digital marketing. 5 years ago I landed my first digital marketing job as the Social Media Coordinator at Traut Personnel, and soon after that my first SEO specialist position at Big Web Media. Since then I’ve worked on dozens of accounts for businesses located in South Africa, New York and Australia.
