Please describe your company and your position there.

I work as part of a independent team and my responsibility is to handle administrative tasks for projects and guide team members to keep the project running smoothly.

For what projects/services did your company hire Seaflux, and what were your goals?

My website has been created for over a year now. Seaflux was able to help pick up on what was left and finish it. My goal was to have a recommender system in place to help give users on my website a more personalized and favorable list of music to listen to. Seaflux was able to fulfill this goal, with many more future projects I will have for them.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I have interviewed many other candidates for this task and Seaflux came out as the more professional and reasonable one. The motivation and background on this company made the decision a no brainer.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Web development and artificial intelligence was key. Node js, python, Javascript for technologies (just to name a few). Designing the machine learning model then integrating it with the existing application was the key deliverable.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

A few full stack developers and data engineers were involved in this task alongside a machine learning engineer and a project manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After demonstrating the work to my team, they noticed the design and structure of the project was flawless and highly scalable. We believe that once the website is launched in the foreseeable future we will have an increase in clients compared to the work that was done prior to this. The deliverables were clear and straight to the point with much detail surrounding it’s entire implantation process.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We had weekly updates for certain milestones that were part of the project. Other updates and important blockers that prevented work from being completed were communicated as soon as possible to keep the work flowing. Amazon web services was used to help put things in place. The team was willingly motivated to show me what work was being done and gave a demonstration of the deliverable.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were able to quickly organize my project to make it easier for me and my team to access the project details and have real time updates on what was happening along the duration of the project. They communicated efficiently and always answered my questions with as much clarity as possible. This is what I found most impressive and made every dollar I spent worth it.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There were a few bugs that were preventing users from accessing my website. Seaflux was able to rectify this issue without hesitation. The consistency and efficiency of their work had really paid off. Will definitely be interested in future business with this company once I have put in place a plan for future work.
