Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work as a senior business analyst for a software company. We handle web application and mobile app development for a variety of customers.
What challenge were you trying to address with Sceel.io GmbH?
On some of our projects, we collaborate with their team to handle some of the requirements that we take on.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They helped to augment our development team for a web application, most recently. Their team is automating some tasks within a program that we were working on. They used React in the frontend and Firebase in the backend to deliver all of the requirements that we have them.
What is the team composition?
For the most recent project, we had around three frontend developers and one backend developer who was responsible for the Firebase and SQL database.
How did you come to work with Sceel.io GmbH?
They started partnering with us before I joined the company, but I believe there was a mutual connection between the companies who initially put them in contact, and they began to partner together from there.
How much have you invested with them?
This project has cost between $10,000–$50,000 in total.
What is the status of this engagement?
We have been working together since around 2017, and the partnership is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The deliverables in this particular project have been really effective and helped us to fulfill all of the expectations. They provide all of their work within a very short period of time and always exceed our expectations in terms of quality as well.
How did Sceel.io GmbH perform from a project management standpoint?
Our work with them is typically very well managed because we never have any problems meeting the deadlines that we set out at the beginning of the work. Their team is good at evaluating how long things will take and what they can and can’t do in the budget you are giving them, so that is never up in the air.
The team is also very attentive to our needs and always give us regular updates about what is going on and where the status of the project is in case we are falling behind or anything. They do a great job of always keeping us in the loop about all of their work.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They are very receptive to feedback and eager to listen to what you have to say, which is relatively unique among outsourcing teams. We ran into virtually no problems with them both because of the initial quality of their work and also because of their willingness to make changes when we asked.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Nothing in particular comes to my mind.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good, committed team to deliver something that is needed within a very specified timeline.
