I’m the CTO at an organization that develops software for the motor vehicle industry.

What challenge were you trying to address with SapientPro?

Our in-house development team needed support in the development of functionalities for our web application since we didn’t have time to write them ourselves. We needed help developing components we would use in our app’s UI.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we provided SapientPro with a document that outlined all the components that needed to be developed with the detail of look and feel. SapientPro has designed and developed the components based on that document using Angular, TypScript, and JavaScript.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with three teammates from SapientPro: a graphic designer, a business analyst, and a software developer.

How did you come to work with SapientPro?

We received positive reviews about their work and decided they were a good fit after interviewing them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $150,000 AUD (approximately $100,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2022, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The quality of SapientPro’s work is very good. I’m impressed with SapientPro’s developer — he has shown knowledge of the product and has good development abilities in TypeScript and JavaScript languages. SapientPro constantly proposes ideas and makes suggestions, which is also very valuable.

How did SapientPro perform from a project management standpoint?

SapientPro’s project management is good, and we haven’t had any problems. The team keeps track of their tasks and provides an estimated time for each, and project management has been easy to manage. We use Agile methodology, and I’m very happy with their progress, reporting, and ability to provide feedback.

SapientPro’s communication is good, and we have weekly meetings where they show their progress and the components they’re working on. We also talk on a regular basis through email and chat, and SapientPro goes out of their way to help us. Despite our time zone difference, we’re happy to get up earlier to ensure we can communicate with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed with SapientPro’s commitment to ensure our success. In my experience, other providers aren’t as committed as SapientPro.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything for SapientPro to improve on. If there is any issue, we talk about it together.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend future clients have a clear idea of the product they want to sell. Working with an external company requires the ability to know what you want and be able to articulate it clearly.
