We build bespoke marketing websites and custom web applications in Next.js. No page builders, no templates, no CMS subscriptions. Everything is built in-house by the two founders, Elliot and Dan, so you speak directly to the engineers building your site, and we host, maintain and secure it as part of your monthly plan.

Our Story

Sandbanks Digital is run by Elliot Padley and Dan Laws, two Dorset-based engineers with five-plus years each shipping production software. We build bespoke websites and custom web apps for UK businesses direct from a desk in Poole. No offshore developers, no handoffs, built in-house start to finish.

We split design and build between us, but you speak to both of us on every project, from the first call through launch and the years after.

We build in Next.js and host everything ourselves on our own managed infrastructure. No page builder subscriptions, no CMS platform fees, no Wix or Squarespace charges dressed up as a platform. Hosting, SSL, security and support are included in one monthly fee.

Yes. Sandbanks Digital Ltd is a limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 17268570, with a registered office at 457 Ashley Road, Poole, Dorset BH14 0AX. We operate with UK bank details, a UK contract and a UK phone number, and are happy to share documentation on request. We are not VAT registered, so there is no VAT on our prices.

Most websites go live in two to eight weeks depending on the plan. SaaS MVPs typically ship in six to ten weeks, and larger production web apps run six to sixteen. Website plans start at £75/month with £0 upfront on a 12-month term that begins the day your site goes live, covering hosting, updates and support. Custom web apps start from £1,000 for an MVP and £2,500 for a production build, always fixed against a written scope. Every quote is fixed and itemised, and if scope shifts we say so before we do the work, not after.

No. Every line of code, every design decision and every client conversation is handled by the two founders. We do not outsource design, development or copy, and nothing goes offshore. Work stays in Dorset, which keeps quality high and turnarounds short.

Yes. We are based in Poole and know the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole market well, covering Bournemouth, Christchurch, Wimborne, Ferndown, Wareham and the wider Dorset area. We also work remotely with clients across the UK. Discovery, design reviews and updates all happen over calls and a staging URL you can check at any point, so being local is a bonus rather than a requirement.
