We hired Saddle to create an impactful and captivating landing page for our annual event on chemical innovation. The event has a history of several editions but we needed a professional and straightforward online presence. The primary focus was on embodying the event's mission, which is to connect academia with industry. It was important as well to communicate the significance of the event and tailor the message to our target audience. 

The key deliverable was a landing page for the event, including a logo for the event, a style flexible enough to be adjusted to the annual theme, a section dedicated to the conference program, a section for the career fair, with the program and the possibility to effectively display the logos of the companies attending. 

1. 1. Website Strategy and Development: 
   1. Establishing an information structure for the website. It had to be simple, organized, and intuitive, to facilitate access to different sections, such as the conference program, keynote speakers, career fair companies, and other details. 
   2. Adapting the provided input, adding to it elements of marketing and strategy, to obtain an engaging and compelling webpage. 
   3. Ensuring responsive design for optimal viewing on various devices (desktop, mobile, tablet). 
   4. Developing a flawless website using Webflow 
2. 2. Branding/ Graphic Design 
   1. Design of marketing materials, including a roll-up banner, LinkedIn post designs, social media banners, a brochure with the program, all reflecting the event new branding

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Although the ACID event is yet to take place, the positive feedback and engagement are strong sign of success. The website played a pivotal role in boosting traffic and user interaction on both our LinkedIn and Eventbrite pages, leading to a notable increase in event registrations (200+ a month prior to the event). 

Across social media platforms, our content has received substantial likes, shares, and comments, while the marketing materials, such as the roll-up banners and LinkedIn posts, have contributed significantly to heightened brand recognition and awareness. The overall response has been overwhelmingly positive, reflecting a widespread perception of high professionalism. 

Furthermore, improvements in search engine rankings signify enhanced online visibility. The project was executed efficiently, adhering to established timelines, and indicates a promising trajectory towards a successful event.

Saddle effectively managed the project, consistently delivering items on time and responding promptly to our needs. They were patient with the committee response, sometimes slower than their pace, and we communicated well with the parties involved. 

Their team often runs the extra mile to offer its best service: this fact actually slowed the initial timeline but we agreed on it and the small delay was well-rewarded. Their responsiveness and adherence to timelines ensured a successful project outcome.
