We are a customer engagement platform for offline stores & I am one of the founder.

For what projects/services did your company hire RVJ Infotech?

we needed someone to build a backend that is scalable as saas platform and secure at the same time since we deal with payments. RVJ seemed like a good bet based on the experienced devs and it turned out to be correct.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Based on discussions with the founder and tech leads, they were able to understand what we wanted to achieve. They didn't just help us build the platform but also designed it so that we could scale in the future.

It was a MVP platform for customer engagement had modules like payments, notifications, coupons etc, once they put the base structure in place, we moved from module to module and then covering the API's to get the app integrated.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

8 people... One tech lead, 2 backend developers ( ROR), one frontend ( React) and 2 mobile ( Native React), 2 QA automation engineers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

This was an MVP launch and they helped us get into the market months before we expected to be.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication was seamless, we majorly connected over the WhatsApp group and it worked well.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Ability to work with the minimal information, we didnt had a business anlyst to create extensive PRD but whatever wireframes we can pull up, they were able to use them to code.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing as such but if they can get an inhouse designer, that should help us next time. we onboarded a freelancer this time but coordination was a pain.

we had a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals and objectives . We provided their team with wireframes and designs . within two weeks they provided the IOS build . They incorporated our feedbacks and delivered the revised version .
