Rodriguez Ship Builders is an internationally known builder of boats and ships. Our team has completed over 265 vessels including Lift Boats, Cargo Vessels, Excursion Yachts, Fishing Vessels, Tug Boats and more for customers throughout North and South America and Africa. We build with steel and aluminum up to 200 feet and can provide stock or custom designs. We are driven to excellence in boat building by our desire to provide exceptional boats and ships on time at a great value.

In 1976 the Rodriguez family founded Rodriquez Boat Builders, Inc. specializing in Cargo Vessels, Tug Boats and Fishing Boats.

Over the years we have managed to grow during the good times, and have maintained our position during the lean years. We are fortunate to be located in Coden, AL, near Bayou La Batre and Mobile. This area is well known for its boat building expertise. We are served by two main deep water channels, Bayou La Batre and Bayou Coden. This area has a very large and skilled labor force available. For example, our city of only 2500 employs more than 5000 people within its city limits. These geographic advantages coupled with our experience and abilities have enabled us to build quality boats, meet delivery schedules, and give to our customers real value. These things are the foundation upon which we built our company.
