We own the complex financial operations layer from AP to close and fully coordinate audit and tax services.

Ridgeline's primary goal is better stewardship of the finance function.  Our methodologies are rooted in the bookkeeping-Virtual CFO model, but deeper, more intentional, and more lasting.

There is no set limit, we are a growing firm with a business model that has proven to be effective and we are developing accounting talent to grow capacity internally.

Rigorous. Onboarding runs as a controlled sequence. Four phases, roughly ninety days to a running system. 1. Diagnostic (weeks 1–2). Before we quote recurring work, we map what exists: entity structure and intercompany flows, the chart of accounts, who can move cash today and who approves it, where the close breaks, and what your lender, investors, and tax preparer need and when. This is a paid, scoped engagement with a written deliverable you own whether or not you hire us. If the finding is that you need something other than us, we say so. 2. Stabilize (weeks 2–6). We take the mechanics over before we change them: AP intake, payment runs, reconciliation, the close calendar. Control comes before optimization, and a system you are not yet running is a system you cannot yet fix. Bank access and approval authority get documented and tightened in this window, because that is where the exposure sits. 3. Install (weeks 4–12). Then the architecture: GL and entity structure, chart of accounts, class or dimension tracking, AP with real authority tiers separating preparer, approver, and controller, treasury mechanics, a close checklist, and reporting packages built for whoever actually reads them. Every workflow is documented as it is built, not after. 4. Operate. We run it. Monthly close on a published calendar, reporting on a fixed date, a standing cadence with you. Documentation stays current because it is how the work gets done. Two commitments hold throughout. Your context stays yours — we do not blend it with another client's. And a licensed CPA clears cash movement and authoritative accounting output, permanently, regardless of what is automated underneath. Timeline moves with entity count and the condition of the records. A clean three-entity operator runs faster than a fifteen-entity structure carrying two years of unreconciled accounts.

Full onboarding is anywhere from one to six months, depending on the amount of configuration and cleanup work required. Once onboarded, month close runs on a 15 or 30 day cycle.
