I’m the head of digital marketing for a motor company based in the U.S. We oversee all of our digital marketing channels.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Rhythm Agency?

We were in the process of restructuring our email marketing program. The agency we had been working with was not meeting our expectations or producing relevant, meaningful content for our customer base.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Rhythm Agency built the entire structure and framework for our email marketing program to modernize our marketing efforts. They transformed our static email template into something modular and responsive, allowing users to view the content on any device. Additionally, they have created content for us within the email marketing program. We ensured they were familiar with our brand so their content will be relevant for our audiences. They design, develop, and execute all of our email marketing campaigns. We’ve expanded their role since our business relationship began, as their team now performs web development, SEO, video production, landing page creation, and social media aid.

What is the team composition?

Though the team size varies with the project at hand, we typically interact with between 4-8 people, but on a video production it could be up to 10. We work with their program managers as well as directly with an accounting team member. Overall, we communicate with a variety of people over the different projects.

How did you come to work with Rhythm Agency?

We sent 4-5 organizations our RFP, but we chose Rhythm Agency based on cost, overall program structure, and support.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in 2016, and our relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

In one program they worked on, there has been a 35%–40% increase in organic traffic on those particular pages alone. Additionally, they’ve been awarded our premiere partner award; this a prestigious award in our organization and required an evaluation and selection process.

How did Rhythm Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

They are a very agile organization when it comes to responding to our needs quickly and efficiently. Their team develops good project plans and has a rigorous project management style. We have weekly status meetings and they follow up throughout the process. In addition to using Basecamp for our project information and statuses, we communicate and work over email and phone, and Google Docs. All of our content is easily accessible throughout these channels.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They put in a high level of effort to understand what we're looking for and they are able to achieve it. They have strong service skills and deliver on their promises.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Though this isn’t particular to their organization, it would be helpful for them to increase their overall automotive business knowledge because it is a specific industry.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It's important to know what you’re looking for and what your goals are. Communicating your needs to Rhythm Agency is crucial because they will deliver on the expectations you set for them.
