 I am the Account & Partnership Director of an IT company

Our company is a trusted software engineering partner and award-winning custom software developer with over 3,500 vetted engineers onboard. Founded in 2007, we help enterprises and startups accelerate digital product delivery, reduce engineering costs, and scale fast across key regions, including North America, DACH, the UK, Nordics, and the Middle East. In every key region, we have dedicated business development managers who understand the local pain points, barriers, business culture, and regulatory nuances.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Revant Labs to accomplish?

• We had a bunch of product ideas queued up that our own team couldn't get to because they were busy with the main roadmap. We'd also been trying to get AI tools properly into our dev process for a while, and getting consistent results out of them turned out to be a much longer project than buying the licenses. So we went looking for someone who already had that figured out.

Revant gave us a senior full-stack engineer who basically joined our team. He was in our standups, worked in our repo, and took [features / the X part of the product] end to end without us having to break tasks down for him. He got up to speed in our codebase faster than I expected — his first merged PR came within a few days and it was a real task.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Hard to put an exact number on it, but the pace was above what we normally get. He leans on AI tools a lot, which I was skeptical about at first because I expected to catch problems in review. That didn't happen, the code quality held up fine.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Easy to work with. Short written updates, quick responses. At one point we changed priorities in the middle of the month and they just re-planned and told us what would move to the next one.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

How little management he needed. He'd push back when a requirement didn't make sense instead of building it as written, which saved us at least once. He also set up his AI workflow in a way our team could use — documented it, adjusted it to how we work — and once our devs started using it themselves, the feedback was very positive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Revant Labs could have done differently?

Can't think of any. The collaboration went the way it was described at the start.
