We hired Results First to help us improve our organic rankings and manage our PPC budget. We were interested in the idea of paying for actual results rather than paying and hoping for improvement. We identified 50 keywords for the organic rankings and we are slowly seeing improvements (we recognize that it takes time).

For the PPC Ads, we have been able to target a workable budget and I have been working with them closely to rewrite our ads - and we are seeing the ads regularly (they never seemed to be running prior to working with Results First).

We have been seeing a noticeable uptick in the number of leads per day! They also helped us find a tool to block the spamming that had become a huge issue. We no longer receive spam leads which has been very helpful.

We engaged Results First to assist us in optimizing our landing pages, category pages, as well as off site link building and other SEO and SERP activities. We provided a list of 200 Key words we wanted to rank higher and they developed the strategy to start the process of optimizing on site and off site in order to help us achieve higher rankings in both Google and Bing. We receive monthly reports on the progress and their activities.
Also, we hold strategy calls to make sure we are in alignment to achieve the results we looking for. In the begging the list we had provided we were ranking very poorly and incrementally we have seen positive movement on a weekly and monthly basis with some key words ranking in the top 5 to 10 positions.

We have seen our rankings improve weekly and monthly with dozens of key words ranking in the top 10 or higher positions on google and bing.

We also started a blog per their suggestion. The activities are timely, and the organization is very results oriented as it is how they are compensated for their efforts. The results and ranking on search is how the compensation structure is achieved.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

Amagi is based in Bangalore and has two lines of business. We focus on broadcasting and advertising technology. Standard advertising is provided for India businesses, and internationally we target broadcast technology audiences. Internationally we target broadcasters who would like to move their traditional satellite feeds to cloud. That reduces satellite cost overheads. We have over 250 employees working at multiple locations in India and abroad. I’m the digital marketing manager.

What challenge were you trying to address with ResultFirst?

We wanted to increase our web presence, but we did not have the in-house expertise to do that ourselves.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially engaged with them for our website maintenance, SEO [search engine optimization] and paid campaigns. Later we reduced the scope, and they now handle only SEO and paid campaigns. They handle the entire aspect of SEO including on-page and off-page for Amagi and on-page recommendations for our website, which recently launched. As part of their off-page optimization effort, they scan and deliver to various topics, which are related to our business. Then, as part of our on-page, they regularly update the content for our website to rank on top with Google. As part of the paid campaigns, they manage the complete campaign, but currently, creatives are being provided by Amagi to write text for our copy. They do keyword research and structuring and then based on that, they execute the campaigns for us.

It was a relationship with the account manager which led us to find them. They were well within our budget.

We have spent $20,000 with them so far on the project.

We began working with them in December 2014, and the project is ongoing.

There wasn’t much web traffic increase, but the rankings are consistent. The search engine rankings are on top for a few keywords which we are currently targeting.

Their response time is very good, and their customer support is great. They do any extent to satisfy the customer.

Whatever they promised, they delivered. ResultFirst was very good. I would recommend them to anybody.

ResultFirst is one of the best third-party suppliers I've worked with. Their service is SEO, a field where there are a lot of suppliers and, since it is difficult to gauge results, many ways for a customer to spend money with no tangible benefits. ResultFirst's business model is designed to accommodate to these challenges. Its immediate purpose is to gain the confidence of new and prospective customers, but, as a result it gives the customer hard data by which to measure progress. This begins with a specific measurable metric, key word ranking. Their fees are based on improvements in the ranking of keywords recommended by them after research and approved by the customer. The customer can at any time also add more keywords and request that special focus be given to underperforming keywords. The strategy from the customer's point of view is to make sure the keywords chosen are not low hanging low yield fruit. Valuable keywords are those where rising in ranking is difficult and are keywords prospective buyers actually use.

Resultfirst's methodology is far ahead of that of other good SEO firms: optimize the site for page speed, optimize for SEO and create inbound links. Focussing on optimization for Google Core Web Vitals is a valuable step which many SEO firms ignore. It also produces the quickest results for keyword ranking. ResultFirst's results in this regard are great. Their SEO optimization has been limited in my case because my site pages were already pretty well optimized but this doesn’t stop them from producing great results. ResultFirst's inbound SEO is good but, like many other SEO firms, relies heavily on high quality links through web 2.0, minor blogs, GP and more. I plan to supplement their work with links from top rated blogs from link specialists like Fat Joe. The outcome of ResultFirst's work was fast and impressive. High quality keywords rose to the top 10 and even the top 1-3 in a few months, far sooner than I had anticipated.

ResultFirst, as it turned out, was able to provide another unexpected service in time of need. That is IT tech support. My server crashed suddenly and my host was unable to provide the software support needed to fix it. Also for some reason I could not locate a freelance developer to work on the complex problems which caused the crash. ResultFirst offered to step in and assigned to me an IT specialist who, as far as I am concerned is at the top of his field. He brought back my server and stayed with the project until all the knock-on effects of the crash and restoration were also fixed.
