Please describe your organization.

I am the senior manager of Superior Promos, a promotional product distributor providing imprinted goods for businesses. We mainly use e-commerce.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What business challenge were you trying to address with Entenso?

We were looking to integrate a new platform in our business. We needed a company with web development expertise for work that needed to be done to our existing site.

SOLUTION

Please describe the scope of their involvement in detail.

Entenso overhauled our website to be more user friendly on the front-end and cleaned up the back-end. We wanted to increase traffic as well. Some of the issues we had were complex, and they handled it well.

How did you come to work with Entenso?

An associate of mine had used them before. I looked them up and saw some of their work, and we gave them a trial basis. It worked out well.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

We spent between $10,000 and $50,000 on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our initial goal was to have the project completed between six and nine months, but it ended up taking between nine and 12 months.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

The results have been good. It's an ongoing project, so we are still working on changing many things. In the beginning, it was hard because Entenso had to get acclimated to our system and get everything set up. As it went on, we were able to get on the same page, and we figured out what our needs were and what they were capable of doing.

I'm happy with them, which is why I'm still with them. E-Commerce is an ever-changing industry. They keep up with the times and are prompt. Their estimates are pretty much always on target. There are bumps along the way, but they handle themselves professionally. If an estimate needs to be adjusted, they are up front with you. They're good to communicate with.

How did Entenso perform from a project management standpoint?

Entenso is good. They communicate well. They assign project managers and keep you updated on what's happening. To me, project management always involves communication. If a client is left in the dark and not sure what's happening, it could lead to delays and problems.

What distinguishes Entenso from other providers?

Entenso is good at suggesting what will work and what won't work. I know many people will do just what the client would want them to do even though it might not work well. A client might have a vision, but implementing it might not be possible, and they were always willing to come up with new ideas. It saved everybody time because you do not have to go back and have work redone. Many firms would be OK with that because they get paid, but I liked that Entenso was up front with me and were conscious of my time. They give you a good understanding of what to expect, and I think that's their biggest asset.

Is there anything Entenso could have improved or done differently?

Entenso does a good job overall. I pay attention to detail and like to stick to deadlines. Even though they do a good job, it could be improved, but we know there are so many moving parts. They do a good job in projecting how things are going to play out. Their communication has improved through the years.

We worked with Entenso on many projects during the course of our partnership. The bulk of the work we outsourced to Entenso was PHP development and mobile app development.

How did you come to work with Entenso?

We have assistants that are scouring the Internet finding new teams. When we began working with them, we had them start on an HTML5 project, which was years ago and, at that point, it was hard to find good people.

We spent between $50,000 and $200,000 working with Entenso.

When we worked with them, it was on an ongoing basis.
