I’m the president and founder of CaSE Analysis. We perform patent portfolio management and patent monetization services.

We had extensive bookkeeping needs.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Remote Office Solutions provides us with bookkeeping services. Initially, they did some mild work for me. When I became satisfied with that work, I extended their scope to do all of our invoicing and bookkeeping, including interfacing with the accountant.

The team also prepares materials for the accountant and does financial planning. Remote Office Solutions uses QuickBooks and Timely.

We’ve spent between $10,000–$50,000.

We started working together in August 2023, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Remote Office Solutions has handled their tasks well. The primary thing is that our invoicing is done in a timely manner, and outstanding invoices are tracked. We always know where we stand with clients who aren’t paying in a timely manner.

How did Remote Office Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Remote Office Solutions stays on budget. We usually communicate via email and Zoom calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Both their timeliness and integrity are impressive. I can always trust Remote Office Solutions' owner and his team. If a mistake is made, I can contact them, and they will rectify it quickly. I've been very satisfied with giving feedback.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes, small errors, like spelling errors, need a bit more attention. However, those are within the normal scope of accounting. As Remote Office Solutions grows their team, having more people familiar with the projects will be helpful.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Define the project clearly and ensure you communicate well. Don’t be afraid to provide feedback if something’s not according to the process or is misunderstood. You just need to be clear about it, and Remote Office Solutions will pick up on it. The team is a good listener.
