What challenge were you trying to address with Remote CoWorker?

I needed help with a wide variety of tasks. I was looking for someone who could flex between administrative work like email and calendaring to creative work like Canva and Word document design. I also needed someone who could quickly learn specialized technology that I use to manage my coaching & consulting practice.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Remote CoWorker helped me with a number of projects. Some of the more significant ones included cleaning up and reorganizing my varied email accounts. Another project was extracting coaching tools from large documents and recreating them as tools without any additional fluff. My assistant also helped with ongoing tasks like checking my email daily, scheduling, and resolving calendar conflicts. She also updated my logs to track coaching hours and new LinkedIn connections. Additionally, she sent out emails to colleagues and clients.

We worked together from October 2023–October 2025. I ended the engagement through no fault of RCW. It was the US Government shutdown that precipitated the premature termination of our arrangement.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We reduced the number of emails I needed to manage from approximately 10 down to four. We also consolidated four different Substack accounts down to one primary account. Additionally, we created approximately 50 SOP documents to reflect how I run my business. Although I didn’t track metrics explicitly, I was able to focus more effort on working to build business relationships and less time managing my calendar, email, and projects. Overall, I saved roughly 10–15 hours per week on administrative tasks.

My assistant was consistently on time. When she knew that the allocated time wasn’t sufficient, she communicated well to let me know and renegotiated. Our primary form of communication was virtual meetings.
