I’m a semi-retired cancer surgeon. In the last year, I wrote a book about my experience and knowledge.

What challenge were you trying to address with Relevant Digital?

Since it was self-published, I needed to find a way to market my book. I found someone local to help, but they ended up driving me crazy. They never answered emails, and while they built a site for me, they couldn’t connect it with Shopify.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Along with marketing services, I needed Relevant Digital to build a website with a shopping component. They connected the site with Shopify, making it easier for consumers to buy my book. They also set it up for me to have a weekly blog on it.

What is the team composition?

I only worked with Mark (Head of Digital).

How did you come to work with Relevant Digital?

After working with that previous vendor, I went on a local gig economy site to find Shopify operators. I found Mark, and then I asked him to set up a meeting. After we sat down, I found that he was a pleasure to work with.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $250 AUD (approximately $184 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together in November 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’ve had people ask about who created the site. Everything is up and running. We did have a minor problem recently where I had to contact Mark again, but it turned out it had nothing to do with his work. He still helped out at no cost.

How did Relevant Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

Mark answered every email almost immediately. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciated their efficiency. Mark is helpful and friendly.

No, I thought he was wonderful.

I am the owner of Strada Coffee which is a wholesale coffee supply business supplying coffee to Cafes, Bars & Restaurants in and around Melbourne.

For what projects/services did your company hire Relevant Digital, and what were your goals?

Mainly for new website creation and digital marketing to grow my business and to increase brand awareness & to drive sales by building a loyal customer base. Goals were to make people aware of my company & my new website and to achieve a volume of sales over a given timeframe.

How did you select Relevant Digital and what were the deciding factors?

I was seeking a company that was trustworthy and had a proven strategy that was successful. I had considered other companies however Relevant Digital came highly recommended by a trusted source.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The scope was to provide a digital strategy to drive sales by way of top down funnel marketing. Relevant created the e-commerce website on Shopify and helped us craft engaging content for both social media marketing on FB and Insta as well as on the website itself.

Relevant also worked very closely with my customers to understand their needs in order to create a clear picture of our target market demographics. Relevant created an online campaign to engage with people and to capture their data for future targeting and re-targeting.

When I first engaged with Relevant I met with several staff members including the CEO, web designer & senior account manager. I meet with my account manager on a weekly basis to go over what's working & what needs to be improved.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The new Shopify store looks fantastic and the e-commerce platform is a breeze for the team to use. The marketing campaign deployed has shown incredible results with our cost of acquisition averaging less than $10 per purchase and our average ROAs sitting around 14.3x over the last 6 months.

The workflow is super smooth thanks to the exceptional communication standards of my account manager! Our weekly chats are structured, open, transparent, and give me the opportunity to learn and grow as we go. Timelines have always been met or exceeded. Mark the CEO is always pushing me to push the business forward as quickly as possible but I struggle at times to keep up!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Communication has been exceptional. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The results have been incredible and I feel super lucky to have found such an incredible business to partner with.

None that come to mind.

I couldn’t be happier with the work because he starts the same day that you speak to him about it. He always understands if there are any issues or errors that I’ve done in the system. He knows exactly what the problem is and is very knowledgeable. He’s also very patient and professional.

How did Relevant Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

His project management is fabulous.

What did you find most impressive about them?

He’s very responsive, as well as proactive in that I might ask for something and he might suggest another way or a better way to do it. He doesn’t overcomplicate things; rather, he keeps things simple for me.
