Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the founder and manager of the Companion Animal Rescue Awards, a Pets4Life initiative. The purpose of the Rescue Awards is recognise and celebrate achievements in the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of companion animals Australia-wide. It is for rescue groups, animal shelters, pet adopters, foster carers and other organisations who help to save the lives of pets. More at rescueawards.com.au

For what projects/services did your company hire Refuel Creative, and what were your goals?

Mostly full agency services to continue to improve and update the Companion Animal Rescue Awards website and other services, which included the social media program, collateral design, producing a one hour virtual event that announced our 2021 winners.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Ryan and his team revamped the Pets4Life website, which led to the creation and development of the Companion Animal Rescue Awards program in 2018.

Website updates in design and functionality, social media program management, virtual event production and live streaming, and design for non-digital collateral.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Four people - Ryan, Managing Director, Rachael who produced the graphic design for the banners and managed the social media program, Adam who updated the website and fixed any issues, and the videographer who produced an excellent virtual event.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Each year the annual Rescue Awards has grown in terms on the number of quality entries from Rescue Groups and Animal Shelters, attracting new sponsors and Judges who donate their time and expertise to the program. The virtual event held on 10 November 2021 had 2.4K views. The Rescue Awards could not be nearly as functional and successful without Refuel Creative.

Refuel Creative has been critical to the success and growth of Pets4Life and the annual Companion Animal Rescue Awards (Rescue Awards) since launch in 2018. Ryan Jones and his team have done brilliant work to create rescueawards.com.au from scratch and update the site each year providing new ways and ideas to improve it.

Refuel did a great job managing our social media program. The process was seamless with positive outcomes. Their videographer produced a very professional virtual event incorporating pre-recorded video clips from 12 people and created an upbeat collage clip etc, which ensured all sponsors were very happy with the outcome.

His team have also provided excellent design work to produce high quality non-digital collateral including pull up media banners, and certificates for finalists & winners. All work was produced in a timely manner to meet out deadlines. Thank you Refuel Creative!
