I am the CEO and co-founder of an e-commerce platform specializing in the entertainment industry

For what projects/services did your company hire Redesign?

We were looking for design and development solution to help build an appealing platform that combined e-commerce functionality with community-building features, and built with no-code tools to enable future agility and to maintain efficient costs. We wanted a lot - and Redesign delivered and more.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked for designers using Upwork and Behance. After reviewing various proposals and portfolios, we decided with Redesign given the detail and execution of past work.

We were looking to combine e-commerce with a social platform. We felt there were good solutions for each individual aspect but no one readily available solution that covered our holistic goals. We completed a discovery phase where we shared our vision and mission in addition to key elements that we would like included. Redesign helped us structure deliverables and scope the work appropriately.

Redesign then presented a first draft designed with Figma and allowed us to share feedback and ask questions. Once the design was finalized, Redesign completed development of the platform through Webflow. After, there was a testing period to address any issues. Redesign also completed the project handoff with helpful documentation, tutorials, and live support sessions. We have continued to work with Redesign for add-on design and development work.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The final product has enabled us to build a team, attract the necessary partners to join the platform, and gain the necessary resources to launch our marketplace. We will be launching a beta soon and we're excited with our ability to offer a product to prospective customers and measure success in this early stage.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication was great. Redesign is highly responsive and thorough with their shared information across all forms of communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We hit the lottery with the combination of design excellence and development. We received quality and functionality that exceeded our initial goals. It feels remarkable to learn our goals can be turned into reality.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Redesigned overdelivered for us. In the future, I hope to build new functionality as the Webflow offering expands.

We're using a Webflow template but needed to customize some features from it. Wanted to make it modern and aligned with our branding.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

He had an awesome portfolio and impressive credentials!

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Everything was completed via chat, never had to spend time in meetings with him. I'd simply outline what we needed to be completed via chat and he'd finish the items overnight (his daytime). Tasks included design related items or features on Webflow.

Updated design is aligned with our branding and communicated information clearly.

All communication was done via UpWork chat. They take about 1 day to complete the tasks I requested.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

He had a great understanding of our requirements right away and his turnaround time was very impressive! He is also just a very kind individual, always offering to help and go above and beyond.

We chose Redesign because of the interesting ideas we wae in their portfolio. After a direct call with the founder, we understod that this was a person with a good command of the trends and instruments necessary to implement them.

Redesign was always in touch, was attentive to detail, and always responded to any input from our side. We are happy with the results we got and the timeframe in which they were delivered!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was painless, everything was as we agreed upon in the beginning.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It was great that the communication always stayed open, and that Redesign always tried to provide additional creative input as a suggestion to our feedback. All to often when there is a disagreement designers tend to just do as the client says, in a half-effort. Did not get this impression at all during our work together.

There is always room for improvement, and in the question of aesthetics - there is no ceiling.
