Narrative Nurse LLC is dedicated to creating solutions to help nurses be more efficient, accurate, and consistent while reducing liability. I am the founding and only member of Narrative Nurse LLC.

For what projects/services did your company hire The Rebl?

Narrative Nurse LLC hired The Rebl to custom develop an iOS app.

What were your goals for this project?

The app included some unique requirements that required careful planning before settling on an approach to the core functionality. The goals of this app were to develop a working prototype I can use to create content for a future release.

How did you select this vendor?

I had about 12-15 proposals but The Reble stood out because of their eagerness to engage in a conversation about architecture for the core functionality before a contract was signed. This satisfied my concern about The Rebl's ability to find an adequate approach. Additionally, communication was very easy.

Describe the project in detail.

The native iOS project is not published yet so I have to be vague here. That being said, it involved the design and usage of json files for a subject matter expert to create hierarchical content while core business layer logic concentrated on piecing together strings in the correct order while accounting for many exceptions. I provided mockups, an animated prototype, and examples of content to help convey initial concepts. I also came into the project with branding and splash screen animations.

What was the team composition?

For my individual project, a team lead/developer, another full time developer, and a graphic artist.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We finished the project successfully. When additional requirements were identified we quickly found reasonable solutions and incorporated into the final product. I also want to mention that the app was initially intended to be a hard-coded prototype for the purpose of flushing out requirements for a rule-engine based second version. The Rebl's initial proposed architecture allowed for a declarable model in this first project instead of waiting for a second version. This allowed me to start developing content months earlier than originally planned and for that I am grateful.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication was easy and prompt. They were very accommodating when asked to be given access to task boards so I can keep tabs on current focus and communicate directly with the team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The Rebl's experience, communication, and professionalism made for a very pleasant experience.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I like to find improvements with every project but I have no complaints about The Rebl.

We required a design and complete build of a mobile application for a fitness app.

We wanted to see our app idea come to life. The Rebl executed our vision perfectly.

We spoke with several developers and The Rebl were extremely informative and creative and we knew right away that we wanted to work with them.

Complete build of iOS application. Including design. Features included messenger and detailed settings and filters.

What was the team composition?

We dealt with one main contact, Yaroslav. He managed all communication and explained in detail updates and any changes that had to be made.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within 3 months our app was designed and completed with full functionality. We encountered no issues throughout the development process. The Rebl did all testing required which meant the app was ready to release once it was handed over to us.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager was great with communicating the process and giving updates of the app. Their response to any questions was very quick and made the whole development process very smooth. It was a great experience.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was blown away by how simple The Rebl made the development process. The gave a timeline and they stuck to it. They gave updates along the way and did all the testing. By the time it was ready, it was just a matter of telling everyone to download it. I would highly recommend them!!

I’m the founder and product director of Velora Studios. We’re a web application and digital product design studio in Texas.

The app was due for a significant update. It needed a new design and cleaner backend code to streamline future release. We also want to integrate an API to grow our customer base among other new features to improve user experience, retention, and engagement.

The app is for social recommendations of places like bars, restaurants and shops. We use Google Maps API and Firebase. The was made in Swift for iOS.
