We initially partnered with Razom Software for a multiplatform application development project, seamlessly integrating their team into ours with outstanding results. Their expertise and collaborative approach significantly contributed to the success of the project, fostering a strong and efficient working relationship.

Encouraged by these results, we extended our collaboration to Quality Assurance (QA) projects, which are currently in progress. Razom Software's contributions have enhanced our QA automation processes.

Additionally, we collaborated on a short-term project for a web SDK, which was developed from the ground up and successfully delivered to our clients within a tight deadline. This project demonstrated Razom Software’s agility, technical proficiency, and ability to execute high-quality solutions under time constraints.

We have been partnering with Razom Software since June 2023. We have hired a Sr UI/UX Designer and Frontend Software Developer through Razom Software to work on our ongoing projects, including but not limited to the design and development of the rebranded marketing site, the design and development of the proprietary enterprise-level application meant to track ASIC repair operations, designing landing page and frontend development of e-commerce store.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Razom Software were able to find the efficient, experienced and bright people for us. The team members we have been able to hire through Razom Software are great addition to our agile team. The designer was able to quickly understand our need and deliver the designs that we needed for urgent release in record time.

We have not had a single issue with Razom Software. The interviewing process, onboarding, ongoing billing communication and actually the work of people that we hired is happening on time, all deliverables are met. Great and quick communication!

People! The team at Razom Software is approachable and listens to our needs when they try to find resources that check all requirements. During the interviewing process, all candidates that Rzom Software pre-screened for us were smart, experienced talent.

Our process is smooth, I do not see any area that we could have done better.

I'm the VP of R&D for ReSec Technologies, a cybersecurity company dealing with malware from files. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Razom Software?

Our product needed integrations with various tools and cloud drives like Dropbox, OneDrive, and SharePoint. We also needed to integrate our product into CRM tools, which usually document many files and involve file transformation, so our product could protect those files. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Razom Software helps us with coding related to continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD). They've prepared integrations for us for various tools. They develop software that functions as a middleman between our product and different cloud drives or CRM tools. 

First, they do research to find the right options to allow us to integrate our product into different tools. For example, they found a Salesforce plug-in that they could use to track file movements. They developed a solution that sends those files to us via a transformation service, and our product can send them back clean of malware. This way, our product can protect Salesforce users.

They're also helping us with a cloud API. With it, users can put files on the cloud, Razom Software's software sends those files to our product, and we send them back clean of malware. Although users don't see what's happening behind the scenes, they know their files are clean. These solutions can talk to our core product, and users can download and install them. This creates a closed-loop that allows cybersecurity for cloud drives and CRM tools by aligning with our product.

What is the team composition?

I work with three full stack developers from Razom Software. We usually work directly with the team leader. 

How did you come to work with Razom Software?

I was looking at a very large company my wife was working with and couldn't find what I was looking for; I needed a multithreading specialist, and they didn't have someone available. The head of sales for this company had a friend who had recently quit and opened Razom Software, so he gave me their contact information. I scheduled a call and was impressed with them, so we did some tests with the team. Everything went well, so we hired them.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent around $70,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2021, and the engagement is ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I've been very impressed with the quality of Razom Software's work. They finished integration with Salesforce really quickly, and we had very few bugs in the pipeline. We've delivered it to customers, and the feedback has been great. The product was supposed to be complex, and we understood it might not succeed. However, the team came up with a solution, found the right workaround, and pulled it off. 

Most of our new customers are interested in these integrations. When a customer asks if we have a solution for Salesforce, we can now say we do. That's a game-changer; our customers are now more engaged, and we're getting new ones. Overall, I'm very pleased with Razom Software's work so far. 

How did Razom Software perform from a project management standpoint?

They've met the timelines they communicated to us, even when we thought things might take longer. As for communication, we have daily and regular one-on-one meetings with the team. They're available in Microsoft Teams because we've supplied them with Microsoft 365 accounts. We also contact them via chat and email. 

They're a new business, and we considered that they might have some challenges learning our product. However, they've gotten into it and even worked extra time to complete it.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm impressed by how Razom Software is totally engaged in our product. The moment they came to the company, they felt like they belonged. They're curious, ask the right questions, and drill down on every project to figure it out and give suggestions. Moreover, the team is very talented and has a lot of experience and understanding of various systems. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Our only issue is that our working days don't match because we work on Sundays and rest on Fridays, and they do the opposite. However, we understand that we're the ones with a different schedule than most of the world. Still, this missing day of work is something that I would change if I could. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I advise giving Razom Software a good start and showing them your product and code. As long as you explain your roadmap and the tasks they're supposed to perform, they'll pull it off. Arrange your requirements in a readable and understandable way, and they'll be there for you.

I’m the CEO of Zick Technologies Ltd., an e-learning company. We deliver micro-trainings in the form of text-based chat messages.

What challenge were you trying to address with Razom Software?

We were able to raise much more money in much less time than expected and were in a position financially to start accelerating our product development six months ahead of schedule. Therefore, we started looking for staff augmentation services for product development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We shared the profiles we wanted to have on board in terms of software architects, business analysts, product managers, engineers, and QA resources. They scouted the local market for us because we wanted to work with Ukrainian talent.

They then provided several profiles and assisted us through the selection process and day-by-day HR management of each resource.

The resources themselve worked with myself and my CTO to build the first MVP of our product. They handled the back- and frontend software integration, pilot testing, and product specifications.

How did you come to work with Razom Software?

We were referred to them. 

How much have you invested with them?

The cost is €14,000 every month (approximately $15,000 USD). We budgeted around $60,000 to deliver the MVP at the end of this month.

We've been working together since February 2022.

The people on the team had never worked together before but they meshed very well. They integrated very well with my existing internal team as well.

How did Razom Software perform from a project management standpoint?

One of the things that worried me at the beginning was that they were working in a warzone. Despite this, however, there has never been a lack of connection or commitment. We communicate via Slack and video calls. We also have a set daily meeting and casual meetings during the day.

What did you find most impressive about them?

My experience with them has been stellar throughout the engagement.
