BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I´m the founder of a leading company in the textile market with a 40-year history. We specialize in manufacturing and selling textile raw materials for the B2B market across the country.

For what projects/services did your company hire Quimic Agency, and what were your goals?

We needed to find a provider that could create a website that demonstrates our track record and leadership in the market for so many years. We looked for many suppliers but we couldn't find anyone who could combine technological, design and strategic business skills, until we were able to see Quimic's work and meet with them. Their design capabilities were incredible, they use cutting-edge technologies and they also had strategic knowledge that would help us in the business. For these skills and services, we decided to hire Quimic.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We evaluated proposals from 3 different companies, but the Quimic team quickly understood what our goal was with the launch of the new website, this saved us a lot of time. In addition, they were very transparent regarding the costs and times of the project. And finally, they have a team with experience in the creation of digital products, this gave us all the confidence we needed.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We needed to create a website that reflects the trajectory and leadership of our company. The first stage of the project was discovery, in which Quimic carried out an analysis of competitors and trends in other similar industries in order to diagram how the development would be in detail. From this came a new idea, and we added to the project the development of an online quoter. Then the design stage progressed, it had several deliverables (moodboard, low and high fidelity designs and the prototyping that allowed us to see exactly how the developed website would look).

Finally, progress was made towards the programming stage where the Quimic team made everything that had been planned and designed in the previous stages a reality. The last thing was testing, where they made sure that everything works correctly before launching our new website on the market. Throughout the process they kept us informed and met the deadlines that had been established.

The following worked on the project: a project leader, a designer, a backend developer, a frontend developer and a QA.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Yes, in 2021 we have generated 365 potential new clients who have requested quotes. In addition, our website is at the forefront of technology and design compared to other competitors in the industry.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Perfect, there was no setback. They always kept us informed of the progress they were making and requested approval to continue.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most remarkable thing is that they are not just an agency for web design, development or strategy, but rather they manage to combine these three disciplines to offer a truly complete and professional service.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I couldn't mention anything at this point.
