We needed help with video production.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Quan Studios helped us with video production, including digital animation and video editing. The video editing services included scripting, storyboarding, voiceover, and musicalization. Still, their work mainly revolved around animated video production from scratch, so they handled all the creative side of our projects from the start.

Together, we created multiple videos, most of which were for social media brand awareness. Quan Studios also created some videos for marketing purposes, customer service, and internal presentations. The team offered both 2D and 3D animation styles. For example, we had some characters pertaining to our brand. Even when the videos were in 2D, the team also created 3D versions of those characters

What is the team composition?

I interacted with two teammates from Quan Studios. One of them was more on the commercial side and engaged with us initially. From there on, a second teammate collaborated with us throughout. This person acted as the video production coordinator.

How did you come to work with Quan Studios?

They were referred to us. When we met them, the way they presented their portfolio was very modern and up-to-date, so we felt it would be easy to work with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around €30,000–€35,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around March 2023, and our last project ended in September 2024.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Many of our social media videos received a lot of views. We've also posted other videos on our social media channels, but we've noticed that the videos created by Quan Studios have had a greater reach. The team delivered highly dynamic and engaging videos, which were better received by our audience.

How did Quan Studios perform from a project management standpoint?

Something I really liked that I hadn't seen on other providers was that Quan Studios used Vimeo to review our videos. This platform allowed us to leave comments on every second of each video. This platform was very comfortable to use because it allowed me to share those videos internally so that the rest of the team could also provide feedback. Whenever we left comments on a video, Quan Studios immediately had access to that feedback.

As for communication tools, we mainly used email, phone calls, and virtual meetings to discuss our ideas, especially at the beginning of every project. Quan Studios always provided realistic expectations, which was very positive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Quan Studios' strength was their animation skills. The team understood our ideas quickly and provided tailored proposals. Although many other companies also offered animation services, Quan Studios' animations were of high quality, showing that the team was always on top of modern trends.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing I’d have them improve. Their work was very good.

Let Quan Studios guide you. Although you could have clear ideas about what you want, Quan Studios is an expert in animated video production. They're working on such projects daily, so listening to them is important. They might bring to the table things you didn't think about. Obviously, first, help them understand your business thoroughly.

The project videos were developed as part of a larger initiative covering multiple EU-funded projects. These animation videos are a critical tool for communication, dissemination, and exploitation, designed to reach a wide range of stakeholders, general public and maximize the visibility of project results. Each video was produced in line with the European Union’s best practice guidelines for project dissemination and communication.

The videos are expected to reach a wide audience across various platforms of each EU project (e.g., YouTube, social media, project websites), leading to a significant increase in visibility and interest from the target audience.

YES, they were always on time and easy to reach. They managed the project well and delivered everything on time. Whenever we needed something, they responded quickly and were very helpful!

Their professionalism. They approached every aspect of the project with great attention to detail and kept things running smoothly from start to finish.

Overall, everything was handled very well. One suggestion for improvement would be to have more frequent updates during the early stages of the project. That said, we would love to work on more projects with Quan Studios in the future.

In general we have developed projects in a very satisfactory way but we had some normal problems being the first contact with them, regarding time and comprehension of features required in the project.

What impressed me most about this company was its incredible agility and quick response times. The team collaborates seamlessly, making it possible to tackle challenges efficiently and adapt to changes with impressive speed. There’s a strong, shared drive to innovate, with everyone contributing ideas and working together to push boundaries. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Quan Studios could have done differently?

I believe everything looks great overall, but there’s always room for improvement, especially given the challenges that can come up during development processes. It might be helpful to focus on proactively addressing any issues as they arise, allowing the team to streamline workflows and prevent potential setbacks. That said, the team’s commitment to quality and flexibility is already impressive!
