I’m the IT coordinator of an ERP software provider.

What challenge were you trying to address with Procom IT Solutions?

We needed support with our network’s cybersecurity and maintenance.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve been working with Procom IT Solutions for ten years on multiple projects, mainly cybersecurity, server maintenance, virtualization, and hosting our end client’s servers. The team manages our network’s security and maintenance. Procom IT Solutions also builds the infrastructure for our software’s maintenance and our customers’ databases.

Procom IT Solutions mainly works off-site, although they’ve come to our offices for specific issues on our physical network or WiFi ports. Procom IT Solutions also hosts our CRM, previously hosted in AWS. If we require something outside of the team’s capabilities, Procom IT Solutions investigates for ways to help us.

What is the team composition?

I’m unsure how many Procom IT Solutions teammates are assigned to our project, although I know their network team comprises four teammates, and the cybersecurity team has 3–4 teammates. When we create a ticket in Procom IT Solutions’ system, they assign it directly to the corresponding team according to the seniority level required to address the issues.

How did you come to work with Procom IT Solutions?

My company’s engagement with Procom IT Solutions precedes my time working here.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend around $2 million Argentine pesos (approximately $5,600 USD) monthly with Procom IT Solutions.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Procom IT Solutions in February 2013, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’ll describe the success of one of our most recent projects with Procom IT Solutions. We used to host our CRM suite on AWS, which costed us $500,000 Argentine pesos monthly (approximately $1,400 USD). We decided to transfer our CRM hosting to Procom IT Solutions’ servers five months ago, and we now spend $280,000 Argentine pesos (approximately $800 USD) monthly.

Moreover, customizing our CRM’s interface was complicated with AWS, and now, with Procom IT Solutions, we send a ticket asking for the customizations we need, and they add them. Not only do we invest less in our CRM’s hosting, but the team also provides us with quick technical support.

How did Procom IT Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Procom IT Solutions works through a ticketing system where they actively address our issues. Our in-house teammates send an email that creates a ticket in their system, and Procom IT Solutions provides their first answer within 24–48 hours unless we mark the ticket as urgent, in which case they address it earlier. If the ticket needs an in-depth technical analysis, Procom IT Solutions sets up a meeting in Microsoft Teams, and we also have in-person meetings if necessary.

Overall, Procom IT Solutions’ communication is perfect. The team provides attention all day on weekdays and has some services available on weekends. Procom IT Solutions has also adjusted their prices to fit our budget since we have a close and lasting relationship.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most impressive aspect of Procom IT Solutions is their capability to find solutions to our technical issues. If the problem originated in one of their services, the team fixes the issue and ensures that it doesn’t appear again.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only aspect we’ve resented in Procom IT Solutions’ service is when a senior or specialist member of their team is absent for longer periods of time since we’re used to addressing specific issues with the corresponding teammate.

I advise potential customers to hire Procom IT Solutions confidently because they will provide solutions to their problems

They have a Quick turnaround, and their staff is qualified, they are professionals in the it area who are knowledgeable and know how to solve the problems that arise.

They are handled by the status of the cases, in those critical cases the response is fast and in less critical cases they take a day or 2, but always within the agreed time. They have a ticket system to send cases and get reports.
