Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the senior director of engineering at Setu by Pine Labs, a financial services company. We provide APIs and software that help businesses streamline onboarding, payments, deposits, lending, and data management for their customers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Procedure Technologies?

We initially hired Procedure Technologies for a new vertical we were starting in the lending space.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Procedure Technologies has provided us with team augmentation services. The main deliverable has been a lending bot, starting with WhatsApp as a channel for a bank. Procedure Technologies’ engineers have worked alongside our team to build the end-to-end bot and deploy it.

We started working with Procedure Technologies in June 2022, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve run multiple projects with Procedure Technologies, and they’ve been able to turn around and deliver all of them within time and budget expectations. The quality bar has been kept high, and the team is open to iterating to the expected fit and finish. We operate as a B2B business, and we’ve had at least two occasions where Procedure Technologies took care of the end-to-end deliverables and had a satisfied customer.One of those occasions was working on a large-scale end-to-end system deliverable with a bank. The other was working on designing, building, and delivering a multiplatform mobile SDK. These were net-new initiatives delivered on time and with high quality. Our business customers had good feedback on Procedure Technologies’ engagement levels and ability to solve for outcomes. The businesses that took up these projects were able to onboard up to 200,000 users within six months.

How did Procedure Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

We’ve worked with Procedure Technologies on both team augmentation and end-to-end projects. The end-to-end projects have been delivered on time. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’ve enjoyed working with Procedure Technologies’ team and their leadership team. There’s been a strong culture fit and alignment. I’m impressed by their high level of ownership and ability to focus and find the right solutions for the phase and scope of projects.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing Procedure Technologies could have done better or differently during the project. As a vendor on the project, they’ve done well.
