What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We didn't really have good outcomes to measure. We had user stories we wanted to implement based on earlier research and understanding of what needed to be visualised in a PoC.

We had weekly sync meetings with head of design and engineering and the rest of the communication usually happened on Discord. Occasionally we had extra video meetings to clarify issues. PRIOT is quick to respond and very pleasant to work with. 

I had access to the staging area and could follow what was implemented, but I wish I had more insight in discussions around design and implementation decisions. Some things took longer than expected, and I was too stretched on time to be as involved as I wanted to be. I'm happy with the result though.

They did a super job hosting design sprints, and they stretch far to help with presentations, clarifications and discussions with 3rd party.

I need more transparency to the nitty gritty details of what they are implementing.

Initially, PRIOT started with a consultation phase to better understand our existing processes and identify opportunities for optimization. This phase was crucial in laying the groundwork for the technological advancements. Following this, the major phase of work involved the integration of IoT devices directly into our production processes and quality control laboratories. 

These devices were not only installed but also connected to the cloud and seamlessly integrated with a user-friendly, custom-developed web application, designed specifically for our needs. Their approach was not just about technological integration, but about creating a cohesive, efficient system that elevated our quality control operation and production planning. 

The integration of IoT devices, coupled with the tailored web application, has not only streamlined our operations but also brought a new level of efficiency in our production.

The result from our project with PRIOT will streamline our operations, leading to fewer errors and reduced manual input in quality control. We will also save time in both quality control and production planning, and gain better revision tracking, enhancing our overall operational efficiency.

PRIOT is a young, innovative, cooperative, and proactive team. We established a timeline together and determined the collaborators for the product teams. Everything is executed according to the agreed-upon plan.

They delved into content and production areas, which were initially unfamiliar to them. They attentively listened to our wishes and needs, and collaboratively developed custom product with us.

Priot d.o.o. was leading development meetings, writing notes, developing ideas together (which I find valuable as they are a great team to work with, good people with bright ideas). Their UI-UX designer was working with us to create the prototype from scratch. We were able to deliver the prototype in time for our investor to review it before we moved forward with the development.

We achieved our goal to impress the investor with the new MVP product that we developed together.

Yes we have a very nice flow, sometimes they took a step towards me, as I was working hard and was on a very tight schedule.

Software has been developed. The hardware was made up of several components, which were designed exclusively for our needs. 

• For the first project, the anamometers, RFI interfaces and photocells were integrated into a complete system that gives as feedback: automatic identification of the ski jumper, the speed of movement at a specific point and the conversion of wind power into jump length. The second project consists of RFI chip identifiers at different locations along the cross-country ski track (distance of several kilometer's) and measurement of the speed of movement. 
• The result of the identification feedback is: control of the practitioners on the cross-country ski track, and for the runners, the practice time/running speed on a particular segment of the track. With ski speed, the feedback is the quality of the skis.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

No intermediate stations could be identified. Therefore, per our description of the project, we requested the design of components with hardware solutions. And software masks for feedback. And the control was based on letting us know when the hardware components were purchased. That was the control for us, that they started to assemble them into a complete system.

They had a relatively short time to implement the project and did it on time. The work was done in a partnership atmosphere, because our additional requirements (understandability of the feedback) did not affect the hardware costs. They met our wishes with the software solutions.

A small company with a very elastic mindset. You negotiate business and solutions with people who know the market for hardware components (some of the company's employees come from robotics). Therefore, a solution proposal is quickly found for the unique requirements of the client.

We are very satisfied with the workflow. The entire software system works smoothly and is user-friendly, even for our clients who are not very technically skilled. We got exactly what we wanted to make our work easier.

They responded very well to our needs, and everything was done on time and as agreed. They are very responsive and flexible, well-organized. They understood our needs and even upgraded what we wanted with their knowledge.
