 Initially our relationship with Prime Publishing Labs was very friendly and functional but evolved into chaos when they repeatedly returned our manuscript outside the specifications, took weeks to return a fraction of requested website modifications and stopped communicating altogether. They over-promised and under-delivered.  The only certainty is that they will not meet their promise to reply to emails or calls "same day", and they will not meet their 48-72 hour turn-around for modifications to website layout, regardless of simplicity.  We were awed by the arrogance demonstrated in some of their email replies, shocked by the number of times they "assured us" they would meet a deadline and did not.  They did not acknowledge receipt of emails or CRM commjnications, repeatedly left us on hold - on several occassions for hours - and they refuse to fulfill the services specified on their contract.  Generally speaking we can't believe they're in business and suspect they're actually a sophisticate (or elaborate) scam operating since they refuse to refund fees for services they did not spend 1 minute of time upon (we haven't even asked for a refund for services they partially fulfilled).  While the original contract term was intended to be February through May, Prime Publishing Labs consistently missed deadlines (those they established in the first place); so the primary objectives of the contract weren't concluded until September (book publishing), December (website) and besides the numerous items remaining to be completed, the SEO marketing package and audio book were never even started (though refund of fees for those services has been flatly refused). There hasn't been a solution. They refuse to return phone calls or emails, effectively ghosting us. They told us our contract was over on February 6, 2025 AFTER our repeated attempts to acquire the various outstanding items and repeated email requests. They have since promised to deliver the "comprehensive training tutorial" (originally promised July 2024) so we can administer changes to the website, and said they would fulfill their contractual obligation to publish the ebook formats for kobo and nook, but have not fulfilled any of those promises, either. We remain in the dark. We make daily calls and we're put on hold for hours, told any number of the 8 project mangers and supervising managers we request to speak with are in meetings and they'll call us back - but they do not. The culture of this organization seems to be one based on subterfuge, and willful deceit and perceive no accountability, operating with impunity as they consistently offer "assurances" and make promises they simply do not fulfill.

their ability to first agree/promise a deliverable they then simply do not deliver,

their supposed "compliance" department comrpised of production employees (rendering judgments about their own compliance),

their apparent ability to remain in business since their last name change,

their comfort level with not returning calls, dodging formal requests for refund, 

their arbitrary determinations, lack of follow-up, lack of concern - 

the lack of accountability, and the absolute impunity with which they manipulate clients

 First and foremost, Do not engage Prime Publishing Labs!
Ask any self-publishing specialist if they're affiliated with Amazon (especially if their name or website utilizes Amazon logo elements, colors, etc. that suggest it).
Make sure the contract term specifies dates since apparently identifying a list of services doesn't compel a company like Prime Publishing Labs to fulfill them.
Make sure any satisfaction guarantee includes the process by which it can be invoked, and what failures constitute dissatisfaction.
Require the company provides you with information on their structure, the executives and supervisory staff along with contact information (email addresses and phone numbers).
