I’m one of the directors at a healthcare facility company. We take care of old people and provide them with any kind of assistance they might need.

What challenge were you trying to address with Powered Teknologies?

We hired Powered Teknologies to provide for our IT needs.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Powered Teknologies takes care of our IT needs, such as our computer and network needs. Gary (CEO) and his team manage everything for us. If we’re looking for hardware solutions, they take care of that for us. If we have a problem with our internet or computers, the team goes in and resolves it. Simply put, if we face a problem related to our computers, technologies, and network, we call them. 

Moreover, Powered Teknologies has helped us during cyberattacks. We’re now using a firewall to prevent anyone from hacking into our WiFi. The team has also installed programs on our computers, such as Microsoft Office. They work on-site and off-site; we typically call them during normal business hours and they handle issues at the comfort of their homes. 

Beyond those, the team has also designed our website. They’ve checked our old website and said it wouldn’t be good for promotions. From there, they’ve created a new website for us on WordPress.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with 10–12 people from Powered Teknologies. I deal directly with their leaders, but a whole team of people works behind the scenes. They have a finance department and a network support team, and these two teams work with us. Around 4–5 people from their team have also visited our office. 

How did you come to work with Powered Teknologies?

I happened to be a good friend of the owners of a big corporation in Florida. Their IT service provider was Powered Teknologies — they recommended the team to me when I was searching for a vendor. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spend around $25–$2,500 per month; for the initial setup, we’ve spent around $8,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the engagement in May 2021, and the engagement is ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Powered Teknologies knows what they’re doing and saying; they’re also truly polite. Recently, we’ve had a successful drone photo shoot, and I’ve been impressed with the work they’ve done during that project. 

We also haven’t had any downtimes in many months. For comparison, our previous provider has charged us high costs and they haven’t even provided the kind of services we needed. By contrast, Powered Teknologies provides us with 24/7 attention; they provide help whenever required. 

In fact, during one cyberattack, they fixed the initial issues within 20 minutes. Then, they came to our office because our network was somehow penetrated by somebody outside of our organization. The team took care of that and resolve it within 48 hours.

How did Powered Teknologies perform from a project management standpoint?

The team is highly responsive. To communicate, we use Teams; all of our chats and calls are done on this platform. If we experience any problems, we go ahead and tell them through it. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Powered Teknologies is ready for anything, and they’ve never been angry about our needs. They’ve always been polite in responding to us. Their resources are also patient with us since we’re not IT people.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be better if they can provide us with more services under one roof. Other than that, their services have been great.
