Portolan Networks was born in 2020, when our founder, Pat Midzio, was let go during the pandemic — and decided to bet on himself instead of job hunting. Based in Sarasota, we believe IT shouldn't be confusing or reactive. Pat Midzio is the founder of Portolan Networks. In IT since 1998, he built his career at two MSPs before starting his own in 2020. Based in Sarasota since 1986, Pat leads with a security-first, client-tailored approach to managed IT.
