Please describe your company and your position there.

I am Chief Growth Officer at The World's Online Festival, an entertainment social networking platform with a market mainly in MENA. I have been leading brand and marketing since mid-2019.

For what projects/services did your company hire Polything Marketing Consultancy , and what were your goals?

Polything came on board to help us grow our user base predominantly. We worked closely together to device the strategy for growth, put in place campaigns, relentless optimise the campaigns, as Polything produced most of the creative, plus they assisted with a wide range of marketing tasks and ventures at various stages of the funnel.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I had worked with Chris, Polything's Founder, at several businesses previously. I found his knowledge very deep and his ability to deliver very good. Polything were extremely conscientious, diligent with exceptional attention to detail – that and their wealth of experience were the deciding factors.

Polything worked with me to look at where to reach our target audience, and how to have The World's Online Festival best appeal to them with advertising copy and creative. We ran campaigns across search and social media, with Instagram and Snapchat being particularly effective. Their creative production performed very well for us, and they helped me organise our entire marketing plan and execution. We were able to bring in lots of new users at a very favourable industry cost.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Chris was strategy director for our account but also got involved in many executional areas. Within his team, we had production management, head of creative production, and a team of creative producers from experienced to junior.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The World's Online Festival brought in more than 2 million new users from our target market in its first two years since brand launch. Polything assisted with a serious chunk of that due to the campaigns they worked on, and the creative and operational work they did to assist our MENA regionally-led influencer marketing campaigns that brought in the rest. I was very grateful to Polything for their efforts.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I wanted to treat Polything like part of the team, and integrated their key staff very closely with myself and our in-house marketing teams and related agencies. I found them excellent to work with in this way. They were always incredibly on-it with their communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Digital marketing is always changing, and Chris and his team were always great at keeping up with the latest moves in the industry that would effect how we would operate our campaigns and marketing plans.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I felt Polything did their utmost with the tasks I provided them.
