Pixma provided mobile app development support for an online milk delivery service. The team was tasked with designing the UI/UX of the client’s app. They also implemented enhancements as needed.

To the client’s delight, the new app made the entire ordering process a lot easier and received compliments from users. Pixma creatives spent time understanding the business, helping them create a great product that not only aligned with the client’s vision but also resonated with the user’s values.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a co-owner of an e-commerce store called Trufarm Organics.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Pixma creatives?

We hired them to design our mobile app. All our orders were done through our website, but many of our customers find it hectic to go on our website whenever they want to place an order. Thus, we decided to build an app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Pixma creatives helped us design the UI/UX of our app. Initially, we checked out a few other apps from different e-commerce stores and shared the ones we liked so that they could use them as references. From there, they proceeded with the work and implemented some changes and upgrades along the way. They created the designs using Figma.

The app is currently available for Android devices.

Their lead designer was our main point of contact.

How did you come to work with Pixma creatives?

Pixma creatives was recommended to us by a family member who had worked with them in the past.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $1,100.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together on the project from November–December 2022.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve yet to see any big impact on sales because the app has just been launched. However, we received some positive feedback from various users; they were all happy with the app since the whole ordering process became a lot easier, and they could receive notifications. The app also made the work easier for our management team.

How did Pixma creatives perform from a project management standpoint?

We had no problems with them from a project management standpoint. All meetings were on time, and they were quite responsive. We mostly used Google Meet for our meetings. For sharing materials and daily communication, we had a WhatsApp group.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were impressed with Pixma creatives’ design expertise and ability to understand the user’s perspective, which enabled them to get the best results and experience out of our product.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we were happy with what we got from Pixma creatives.

Tell them about your business and what you want to achieve with your product. Also, clearly define your vision and what problems you’re facing.
