I'm the senior marketing and brand manager at TAHO. We're a software solution that dramatically reduces cloud spend.

What challenge were you trying to address with Piwot?

We needed a high-converting website. Our previous website wasn't doing a good enough job of converting the traffic we sent to it.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Piwot handled a start-to-finish project for our new website. The process included locking in strategy and personas, creating a sitemap, mood board, wireframes, and UI design, all the way to the finished product. There were some additional feature requests for the site, including a complex-built ROI calculator experience and a blog.

What is the team composition?

We worked directly with two teammates, but a couple more were assisting behind the scenes.

How did you come to work with Piwot?

Piwot found me through cold email outreach. I ignore over 99% of those types of emails. However, I found Piwot's email to be so well-crafted that I thought they were the right team for me to work with. I connected 1:1 with Kerim (Founder & CEO). I told him all of our needs and got a sense of him and his team. I was able to determine they were the right partners to move forward with.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from June to July 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Piwot's job was to ensure we had a high-converting website that let people know what our product does and got people interested. The most important measurable outcome was their delivery of our high-converting website, complete with a blog and custom-built ROI calculator. They delivered all of this.

It's too early to test and gather data. However, it's easy to understand how superior this website is to our previous versions. Anecdotal evidence supports this based on initial feedback from our internal team and a few other early visitors to the new site. People are blown away by the quality of it.

How did Piwot perform from a project management standpoint?

Piwot's project management was good. They delivered on time. We primarily communicated through Slack, though they were always down to hop on a video call, which was crucial for times when Slack didn't cut it.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Piwot advertised that they would be an extension of our team, and they delivered on this promise. By embedding them within our Slack environment, they were able to communicate with our team, share updates, and connect with whoever they needed to connect with from our side, and vice versa.

The communication flow and willingness to move fast with us (working weekends when needed, etc.) was crucial for a startup like ours, with goals and timelines like ours.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Of course, there is always room for improvement from any team or any project, but any constructive criticism would be very minor fine-tuning type of notes. Overall, it was a fantastic partnership. We would work with Piwot again in the future as opposed to going to market to find a new partner.

Piwot served as the full-stack partner on a comprehensive website redesign and brand refresh project. They led the entire engagement end-to-end — from brand and messaging strategy to UX, copywriting, design, and Webflow development.

They began with a thoughtful discovery phase, helping define the brand’s positioning, tone of voice, and core messaging. They handled all of the website copy, making sure it communicated clearly and felt aligned with the brand’s personality and goals.

Piwot then took the lead on UX and visual design, restructuring the site architecture and delivering clean, modern, responsive designs that were both user-friendly and conversion-focused. Once designs were approved, they built the site in Webflow, handling all development, CMS setup, and QA in-house.

What really stood out was how they operated — they didn’t feel like a vendor at all, but like an extension of the internal team. They were proactive, collaborative, and deeply invested in getting the details right at every stage of the project.
