Pink Gorilla Software intentionally works with a select group of clients and active development projects at any given time. We are not structured around taking on as many projects as possible. We are much more focused on determining whether Pink Gorilla is the right technology partner for the client, whether our capabilities align with the project, and whether we can dedicate the appropriate resources and attention to delivering the work at the level we expect. Before taking on a new engagement, we look closely at the business, its objectives, the technical requirements, the complexity of the project, and the resources necessary to execute it properly. We want there to be a strong fit on both sides. Our projects can range dramatically in scope. We may be designing and managing a professional business website for one client while simultaneously engineering a custom ecommerce platform, CRM, internal operating system, mobile application, automation infrastructure, or highly complex software solution for another. Because of that, we do not treat every client as simply another project in a production queue. More complex engagements may involve dedicated developers, designers, project managers, and technical specialists working closely with the client throughout strategy, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and continued improvement. We also maintain long term relationships with many clients after launch through ongoing development, infrastructure, hosting, security, analytics, maintenance, creative services, and technical support. Our philosophy is quality over volume. We would rather work with a carefully selected group of businesses where we believe we can create meaningful value than accept every project that comes through the door. The objective is to become deeply familiar with our clients, understand how their businesses actually operate, & build technology around what they genuinely need. Our project management process is a little different because we built the technology that manages it. Pink Gorilla internally developed **Launch Pad**, our proprietary project management, development, and ticketing system. Rather than stitching together numerous third party applications, we built a centralized environment specifically around how our teams design, develop, communicate, test, launch, and continuously improve technology. Launch Pad allows our team to manage projects, development tasks, tickets, priorities, assignments, client requests, progress, revisions, and ongoing work from one connected system. We intentionally use fewer third party applications than many agencies. Every additional platform creates another login, another notification system, another place for information to disappear, and another layer between the client and the people actually building the product. We remove that clutter wherever possible. Our process begins with understanding the business and determining exactly what needs to be solved. From there, requirements are translated into actionable development objectives inside Launch Pad and routed to the appropriate designers, developers, engineers, and project leads. Work moves through clearly defined stages including discovery, architecture, design, development, internal review, testing, client review, deployment, and continued improvement. Most project management software is designed to work for everyone. Inevitably, that means it is designed specifically for no one. We took a different approach. We engineered our own system around the way Pink Gorilla actually builds technology. That gives us greater visibility, tighter accountability, fewer disconnected tools, and the ability to continuously improve our own development process. That philosophy extends beyond Launch Pad. We question unnecessary complexity, eliminate friction, and build systems around the actual problem rather than accepting a one size fits all solution.

Collaboration at Pink Gorilla is intentionally direct, transparent, and highly involved. We do not believe clients should hand a project to an agency, disappear for several weeks, and hope the final product resembles what they envisioned. We treat our clients as partners throughout the process and create multiple opportunities for communication, review, feedback, and refinement. Every relationship begins by understanding the business first. We want to know how the company operates, who its customers are, what problems need to be solved, what is currently creating friction, and where the business wants to go. Sometimes the solution a client initially requests is not ultimately the solution we recommend. Once development begins, our internal **Launch Pad** system keeps projects, requests, tickets, revisions, priorities, and development work organized in one centralized environment. This allows our team to coordinate internally without forcing clients through a maze of disconnected third party applications. Clients also have direct access to the people responsible for their project. Depending on the engagement, collaboration may include email, phone, video meetings, demonstrations, design reviews, development previews, and ongoing strategy conversations. For larger software projects, we prefer an iterative process. Instead of disappearing to build an entire platform behind closed doors, we progressively demonstrate what is being built, collect feedback, test assumptions, and refine the product as development continues. We also believe strongly in being accessible after launch. Many of our client relationships continue through ongoing development, support, hosting, infrastructure, security, analytics, maintenance, and new features. We intentionally work with a select number of clients because meaningful collaboration requires time and attention. Our clients are not ticket numbers. We learn their businesses, understand their objectives, and become invested!

At Pink Gorilla, we believe you cannot improve what you are not measuring. That is why we built our own internal measurement and reporting technology: **The Pulse Report.** The Pulse Report was developed to give our team and our clients a clearer picture of how their digital ecosystem is actually performing. Instead of launching a website, application, ecommerce platform, or digital campaign and simply assuming it is working, we continuously analyze the metrics that matter. Depending on the client and project, Pulse can track and analyze website traffic, user behavior, conversions, lead activity, engagement, acquisition sources, growth trends, performance, reputation, and other relevant KPIs. More importantly, we do not believe every business should receive the same generic analytics report. Pulse Reports can be customized around the specific objectives of the client and delivered on a schedule that makes sense for their business, whether that is biweekly, monthly, or another reporting cycle. The purpose is not to overwhelm clients with charts and numbers. Data without interpretation has limited value. We use Pulse to identify what is improving, what is underperforming, where opportunities exist, and where adjustments should be made. That information can then feed directly back into our development and growth process. This is an important part of what makes Pink Gorilla different. We did not simply subscribe to another third party reporting platform and put our logo on it. We developed our own technology around the way we believe digital performance should be measured and analyzed. For us, launching is not the measurement of success. **Growth, performance, improvement, and measurable business impact are.** The Pulse Report gives us the intelligence to continuously evaluate that.

Yes. Pink Gorilla takes regulatory compliance, data protection, privacy, accessibility, and security requirements seriously and incorporates applicable requirements into the planning and architecture of each project. Compliance is not one size fits all. The requirements for a standard business website are very different from those of a healthcare application, ecommerce platform, financial system, or software product handling sensitive customer information. During discovery, we identify the types of information the system will collect, process, transmit, and store, along with the jurisdictions, industries, and regulatory requirements that may apply. Depending on the project, this may include considerations related to **GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, PCI DSS, ADA/WCAG accessibility standards, data retention, consent management, encryption, authentication, access controls, backups, logging, and secure infrastructure.** For projects involving specialized regulations such as HIPAA, we work with the client to determine the required technical and operational safeguards, including whether third party infrastructure providers and vendors must support specific contractual requirements such as Business Associate Agreements. We also believe compliance should be considered during architecture, not added as an afterthought immediately before launch. Our development process can incorporate role based permissions, secure authentication, encryption, controlled access to sensitive information, auditability, data minimization, secure hosting, backup and recovery strategies, and other safeguards appropriate to the application. Because legal and regulatory obligations vary by organization, industry, location, and use case, Pink Gorilla does not replace a client's legal or compliance counsel. We work alongside the client's requirements and advisors to engineer technology capable of supporting the applicable standards. Our objective is straightforward: understand the requirements early!
